  1. Would appreciate it if you all could run some benchmarks (in flat mode) and post charts. More data more better lol.
  2. We should make a new thread I think with collected results. I just redid my 5800X3D, latest patch, complete test, 600FPS cap. ST
  3. I'm going insane. But I will summarize a bunch of threads and posts and videos for you. Using the plasma torture map, avg fps is as follows: 7kX3D ~250 13th gen ~200 7k-non3D ~170 5kX3d ~160 12th gen ~120 5k-non3d ~90 Everything else lower ~60-80
  4. I wish people would read the threads even slightly. It can already use the 7950x3d, and use it well without disabling anything.
  5. The x3d chips blow everything else out of the water. Get a 7800x3d, ddr5 6000 cas 30 ram, throw it together with a half decent cooler and be done.
  6. You will not notice a .2% low that's still over 80fps
  7. I mean TheChosenOne posted this on the previous page which shows 3d cache scales incredibly well. Insane performance.
  8. I know the reverb G2 in particular has issues on amd moreso than any other headset. What's the cpu on the 2nd system? Have you done a full driver uninstall with DDU?
  9. Can you even find a 3090 for a decent price? At this point the 4080 is the only (new) option between those two. If you only play DCS I would recommend the 7900 XT or XTX which would both satisfy the vram needs with excellent performance at a lower price.
  10. I used to have the same card. How far you can go on the undervolt depends, mine hated below 1125 sadly. First, turn the min frequency back down to stock/700mhz. It doesn't do anything except make idle annoying. My card would boost to 2600 so I'd set that as a good max clock. Most games don't need any extra memory speed but going to 2150 is generally 100% stable.
  11. Definitely the 6800, double the vram and 100+gb/s more memory bandwidth. DCS loves vram on max settings.
  12. I followed your 1080p/High Preset/Multithread/Mirrors/Tacview test. At 161.5 avg that's a 32% increase for the 7950X3D wew. I'll assume the 1%/.1% lows being better are due to me running the latest patch, or scheduling problems. Did you do this test using just the vcache core? Sorry if I missed it this thread has been going a while. null
  13. Updated information and improved my test method. That's all for me for now I guess. Some comparison charts:
  14. Downloaded the torture map and used capframeX MT Results (max graphics, motion blur off, MSAA off since SSAA 2x on): 1440p: 151/83/57 Avg/1%/.1% (CPU bound) SSAA 1.5x for 2160p 2160p: 105/66/52 (GPU/CPU bound flashing) ST Results: 1440p: 76/45/35 Avg/1%/.1% (CPU bound) 2160p: 62/39/32 (CPU bound) 4k
  15. Anyone not considering an X3D processor is throwing away performance. I haven't seen someone with a 7K00X3D with a 7900XTX to compare to my 5800x3d but in general the 7950x3d(7800x3d) is 10-25% faster depending.
