Ya, your probably right.

He actually has done like 5 more videos with it in the last week, so it is probably very close.

Good to know

I realize I thought you were responding to someone else, but the same still applies. Fromthedeep said And you said I still stand by what I said about being able to do everything from the front seat, and how discussions should and shouldn't look like. Did you think he said that the WSO wouldn't be able to release weapons? If so, you would be right, the WSO can do all of those things. But I don't think that was what he was getting at.

What? From everything I've read, it sounds like you can do everything from the front seat of the F-15E, and AhSoul is right, as it has a two man crew for ease of operations. Also, insulting AhSoul doesn't add or grow the discussion, so in your own words, "Think first, then write pretty please."

Sarcasm?

Target Identification on Shkval
Letusg345 replied to zeitgeist's topic in Su-25T (Free with DCS World)
I was just thinking about how hard it is to find targets too. I was thinking maybe if you get high enough it would be easier, but I haven't tried it yet. -
Manual Dive Bombing Rips Off Wings on SU-25T

I think speed was the issue, as just now I was doing the training missions for the SU-25 (rebinding) and it says to put down flaps and put engines to idle while dive bombing. -

Sorry for the poor quality in advance. (Couldn't get screen record to work, so I used my phone). I think the problem is with the speed of the aircraft, as the only times I have released successfully is when I was actively trying to reduce my speed. The video is me going top speed. I thought I kept it pretty level, as the only noticeable shifting in the plane's plane was the result of me dropping the bombs. So much so I sacrificed accuracy with the last salvo of bombs . Manual Dive Bombing Rips Off Wings on SU-25T

Could it be that the bombs are hitting each other in midair and exploding? I remember one time releasing the bombs and the aircraft shuddered like it had been hit by something, and when I looked at the 3rd person view, part of the fuselage near the left back side was missing. -

Will try, tho I think when I did it I kept my plane pretty steady. -

You're probably right about it being from inexperience. I'll send a video when I'm able to. -
Was rebinding my HOTAs, and using the training missions as a guide. When doing the first manual dumb bombing mission, I would do the dive, but as I released the bombs, they would hit my wing and tear it off. Is this a bug, or am I not holding the Su-25T steady enough during the dive? I did the mission multiple times, but got the same result every time. Sometimes I could release one or two bombs, but everytime at least one bomb took off a wing.

DCS is surprisingly capable on just a laptop. With the graphics turned to low, it still looks awesome, and the only problem I have with my laptop is the internal hard drive runs out of space pretty quickly.
