Thanks BD. During the previous try at this mission, it worked all right (but my F-18 crashed out of fuel before reaching tanker on way back home). So there is some sort of trigger or condition that is not working depending on some sort of circumstances.... Annoying, as I am stuck in Red Flag mission 8, and now Raven One mission 9... I know it is not your fault and problem is with DCS stupid triggers changing with every patch, but still...

Hi, just tried -again- this mission this evening. Same problem : the Venom squad of 6 men got stuck on the beach near the pier and boat. They do not enter the boat, and nothing more advance in the mission. Tried to return to the CV and land. Mission failed...

Tried this evening with "Disable Gyro Drif" option checked, same result : "no trigger" after WP2... Still managed to kill the transport + 2 F14 + 1 M29, my wingman managed 3 kills before being shot, I did flee with hot pursuits until I reached WP2 where all my package was still doing dumb circles, and did not engage my followers, and one of them managed to kill me... Oh well...

Hi all, I have a problem using presets : I would like to use 2 presets, one for standard screen (3440x1440), and the other for HP Reverb G2 VR (different graphic settings, using 1280x760 res to quickly see if I am on correct version). I have tried to "create" each preset by lanching the sim and specify 2 parameters inside DCS for each preset : in the 'Screen' version, I did choose "No VR" and "3440x1440" display, and in the "VR" version, I choose "VR" and 1280x760 display. However, whenever I choose one of the two presets in Updater and launch DCS, I am always returning to the latest settings I saved in the sim, so the two presets are always identical. What I am doing wrong ? PS: got it after some trials and errors. Not sure what I did right this time, but resetting and selecting saved games folder paths did the trick (I also launched Updater in Admin mode, not sure if needed).

Hello, I confirm same problem with mission 8 trigger at WP2. After reaching WP2, the package turns in circles, endlessly (already posted in main forum). Baltic, I fully understand this is a problem with DCS version and not your fault.

Done mission 4, no problem, Grand Slam, 130 pts for me. Already did it several years ago but as I am re-discovering M2000 and RedFlag, and under VR (Reverb G2), this night mission was awesome !!! Frightening (talk about possible spatial disorientation !) but awesome.

Hello, am trying the mission 13 also (already completed the campaign a few years ago but I am re-learning the 2000) and I am unable to get an answer from the JTAC. I am on Green CH3 as asked but could not get a reply, already tried 3 times... Any idea ? I am eager to replay Nevada Red Flag too but would like to finish Georgian campaign first Oooops : re-checked everything. Radio comms was set at 'Simplified'. Works ok now

Hello, same report : Berger and wingman collides on tarmac at base. Still not managed to come back alive from Mission 6. Will try another tactic on next try, all my flights get slaughtered by the sheer amount of missiles that are thrown at us by red side. Still a big thumb up for the campaign, very immersive and fun :) Chris

Hello, got the same "problem" with units looking more or less like little boxes when viewed with large zoom through hud. This is clearly (as it seems) a LoD thing, not a graphic bug or something else. I use a nVidia GTX460/1Gb. I will try to take a screenshot and post more info (settings, etc) as soon as I can. It's not something really awful or with playability issues, but still, as it was reported in this thread, just adding to it :)

Thanks for the suggested solution. This problem just happened to me yesterday for the first time. Did a long mission (should be Georgian Hammer 3 or 4), loitering above the battlefield with targets given by two JTACs. In this mission, I never managed to receive the red triangle datalink and associated data from the JTACs, so I always manually enter the UTM coordinates as a new waypoint entry inside the CDU. I did that several times (guess I created 4 or 5 waypoints for the 4 or 5 targets given by the JTACs), but I got the dreaded CDU ******** display on all fields while trying to enter a new one after that, and all I did try was to no effect (changing CDU display mode, changing page, etc... ). Did not try a full realignment and did not know the WarriorX trick at this time. Will know for the next time it occurs :)

Hello, first thing : you do not need to use the TARGET software with DCS A10, as the Warthog stick & throttle are directly reckognized with correct keys mapped by the sim. Using TARGET will only break this mapping, and although it could be possible to fully remap all the controls inside TARGET, it would be a waste of time unless you want to program some very specific action (that would not be a real control however). If you really need to change something to the mapping, best way to do it is to remap the control directly inside the sim options. That is how I added TrakIR control keys to the Warthog stick.

Solved it myself by entering 251 instead of 124 in radio frequency :)

Hello, I am playing this mission a lot (quick to reach battle area, and nice mix of weapons to train for). Today, I tried to change the loadout by creating a new/specific loadout. Since then, I am unable to start the mission, I also got the dreaded message "Invalid 124 Mhz frequency"... Any clue ??

Well, I would not say that IL2 FB is a simplistic/minimalistic sim. Have you tried it with max realism level ? changing propeller pitch, managing multiple engines, etc... ? Of course, with a WW2 fighter, you have far less systems to cope with... But anyway, for me IL2 FB is more or less aimed at same player type as DCS... If you are a WW2 fan, that is :)

Ok, tried the mission several times since then. Got one more crash (always at the exact time when one vehicle goes Boom, not always same vehicle however). Other tries went well without crashing. I even managed to complete the mission without being shot down on one occasion (quite new for me), destroying 5 successives columns of vehicles (the 5th one is a nasty surprise, with some ranged radar-guided SAM vehicle : wrecked the nose of my plane, but every system was still fine except left MFD).

2/2 crashes on the two last tries of this mission, when I am attacking the 4th group of enemies. The crash occured each time at the exact time of destruction of 1st vehicle (last one of the column : Shilka). 2nd crash : the attack was done by my wingman : radio order : attack air defenses. I will try to repeat the mission tomorrow to see if I get the same result.
