  1. I heard its alot of cranking and notching.

its most times : left engine fire.... right engine fire..... radar failure...... acms failure.

then I watch tutorial. and Iam done reading that suggested guide.

I already have reed that all.

They spend 1 Site in the manual about missile-missile air-to-air bvr fight.

At the moment Iam struggeling in a mission where I encounter 4 Su27 with a wingmen. I get 2 shot. With long range shot while undetected TWS I guess.

So all locked missiles away. I only have 8 Amraams. I shot all. All gone. Now I have gun. But indicated Mig29 which is Su27 has hideous IR seeker missile.

(The goal is to get down a A-50 which I would had made with canons.)

And gets me. At the moment I cant go furhter cause my DCS crashes. Edit: Done It

I told wingmen radar off - and ecm/music on when they detect us. So then he should engage Bandits which he did and he killed the other 2.

How much flare is to spend to avoid ir seeker? How much chaff for radar guided missiles? Such "nooby" questions I have also.

    "AI answer":

I understand that you are asking about the amount of countermeasures required to evade missiles. The amount of flares or chaff required to evade a missile depends on the type of missile, the range, and the altitude of the missile.

For infrared (IR) seekers, flares are used to divert the missile from the aircraft. The number of flares required to evade an IR missile depends on the missile’s seeker head, the aircraft’s altitude, and the missile’s range. There is no fixed number of flares that can be used to evade an IR missile.

For radar-guided missiles, chaff is used to confuse the missile’s radar. The amount of chaff required to evade a radar-guided missile depends on the missile’s seeker head, the aircraft’s altitude, and the missile’s range. There is no fixed number of chaffs that can be used to evade a radar-guided missile.

It is important to note that the effectiveness of countermeasures depends on the missile’s seeker head, the aircraft’s altitude, and the missile’s range. The best way to evade a missile is to use a combination of countermeasures and evasive maneuvers.

Have you disabled Hotplug in the controls setup?

DCS isnt working anymore. It worked before now its getting in the game and sound crashes due to detecting and undetecting usb device.

I shut off energy saving of usb ports. but didnt helped. I updated but update failed. I put my sayo keypad out it works again.

Thats somehow bad because Iam using it while I play DCS.

  3. Hello guys and gals, Iam new. But not that new. I reed several guides for dcs and manuals.

I think I looked behind the curtain already. But somehow I dont get it. Can you explain to me what is to do when your RWR is flashing up with "(2^9).

Of course you request a bogey dope first(not in that case). Then you scan certain area. (my AI wingmen always fires a fox 3 before I even have target acquired)

I end up burning falling to the ground at a certain point. I know how to use counter measures(but infrared isnt to detect). Currently learning missile notching and defensive manuveurs..
