SinperRu, Not to be rude but, even if you get the engines started, without reading the manual or watching the training tracks for the Su25T, you would not make it off the ground probably or you would flameout your engines. You must turn on the avionics before you try to start the engines. Monnie
  2. Hello Everyone, What exactly does it take to process the "Objects" you see when you enter Ctrl-Backspace twice. Over Krasnodar center there are over 21,000 objects. Even with my rig and the CPU at 2.8 per core I get 8fps. Would love to set up a surgical strike bombing mission in a heavly populated city like that but I fear no one would be able to play it.   3. Hello Everyone, I was curious, do the Ammunition Bunkers' damage model react to where you hit it? Using TV guided bombs (KAB-500Kr ) you could place the point if impact anywhere you wanted. Does it effect the damage of the bunker say if you strike the doors leading into the bunker instead of hitting the bunker directly on the top? Normally would it take more than two KAB-500Kr or KAB-500Kr OD bombs to destory a Ammunition Bunker with direct hits? Thank you Monnie
  4. Hello Everyone, Does anyone know how to set the affinity of cpu01 with a command line switch/arguement. Due to my ignorance, I do not know how to use Procaff or get it set up. Also, I would like something setup to that I can have Hyperlobby start the game with the affinity in place since multiplay is the whole issue. Zero issues with single player . Thanks Monnie

I was speaking about the videos that ED put out to promote the simulation as the first poster was asking about before the release. I believe he was asking about "Duel".   7. Hello Everyone, Using sounds files that are not part of the simulation for the video, to promote the simulation, is mis-leading. Honestly, I was disappointed once I learned that the sound engine had not changed. Thanks Monnie
  8. Hello Everyone, Any insight to this problem in the up coming patch? If not, dual core users must use 3rd party software? Was this a problem in Lock-on 1.0,1.01 or 1.02? (users without FC) If you assign Lock-on to say cpu0, how do you know that is not the cpu all the other programs in the background is using also. I guess what I am trying to ask is, how do you decide which cpu ( cpu0 or cpu1) to run lock-on so that you have the maximum benefit to the other background applications running? My ignorate thinking but, sould you set every other background application to use cpu(x) and lock-on to use cpu(y) so that you know that resources are given to the proper cpu. I mean, you have two cpu's why have one do all the work? ok ok, I am rambling on. Oh, forgot to ask. What is the theory as to why this is only happening in multi-player? It does not happen in single-player? That should help pin-point the problem? Thanks Monnie
  9. Hello Everyone, Not to sound negative. I look forward to all the add ons that ED is working on. I will buy them also to support their cause. What I do not understand is, they are building on top of a weak foundation the sound engine creates. Yes, the graphics engine does a fine job for DX8.1. My analogy would be: You can build a skyscaper to reach hundreds of stories if the foundation can support it. If the foundation is weak, the building will fall. This is hard to understand also because I am a musician and sound is a big part of my life. Damn musicians are anal about sound ;) Thanks Monnie
  10. Evil-Scotsman, May I ask for a link to the software you mentioned Procaff? Do you have any configuration settings suggestions? Tips/tricks? How do you set up your SLI for Lomac/FC? Do you see much of a performance increase from single card to dual card? I do hope the DEV team are able to see that next gen hardware(built for the future) that lockon was so called built for is not really compatible or does not increase performance. Thanks Evil Monnie

  14. Hello everyone, I enjoy the current versions of Lock-on and Flaming Cliffs very much. I have a couple of questions: When we will see versions using DX9 specs? When will we see an upgraded sound engine? When will we see SM 3.0? When will we see SMP or Dual Core support? Thank you for your time Monnie
  15. Hello Everyone, Theses are the type of sounds I have been dreaming of in a sim and zzzspace has been trying to help us with. I know everyone is always taking about graphics but, to me sounds add a major role in "simulation". The graphics except for the fading in of objects are top notch in my opinion. How about a sound engine update for our favorite simulation. To be honest, the sounds in Lock-on and FC was the part of the simulation I enjoyed the least.

  17. Thank you for all the replies !!! If I may ask, Is the FC 1.1 CD only to be published in Russian? No other countries in Europe will get the CD in their native language? ie: French,German,UK, etc... ? Or will the disk have all the installs for other native languages besides Russian? Spasibo Monnie

  19. Whoops made a typo I meant English 1.02 :shock: So the Russian FC will not need to be activated after the so called 40% hardware change? Guess I need to look into purchasing both a CD of Lockon and FC from Russia. Any help in doing that or where I should start? I do not mind spending the money for the CD's, I just want to have it on my shelf for years to come. On a side note, it might take a few years for hardware to catch up to Lockon and FC, would like to be able to enjoy that day :D Thanks, Monnie

Hello Everyone, I have a few questions if I may ask 1) Will the CD version from Russia be able to run with the English version of 1.2? 2) Will the CD version from Russia contain Starforce? 3) Is Lock-on still able to be purchased in Russia? Few things about me are, everytime I get a new pc(3 times a year) I still load up my beloved Janes F/A-18. Janes is gone, but I am still playing the simulation. What will I do when SF or ED is gone? Will buying the Russian CD's prevent me from this problem. I can learn cyrllic, but I can not enjoy software when the method of activation is gone. Thank you in advance for the replies. I hope someone from ED shows up with the answers, not rumors from people that do not know or used to work with them. Monnie
