A Cessna might be fun for learning fundamental proficiency in flight procedures like ILS /Instrument flight etc. but not sure where the Combat part of DCS comes in.

I see that,firstly, I had NPI 2.4.0.08 which didnt have exactly the same editable lines.In NVidia App,I changed the settings for DLSS overide to"Use the 3D application setting". After a lot of back and forth I now have DLSS 310.4.0 with preset K. So far I dont see a difference in graphic quality,although maybe(wishful)a bit less shimmering. Thanks for all the helpful replies.

Hmmm...I looked to find an override setting in Nvidia Inspector,but dont see it.In Nvidia app there are three DLSS override settings....

I cant seem to get 310.4.0 to show in-game. Still showing 310.3.0 (preset K) for some reason.... (I simply overwrote the nvngx_dlss.dll file with the latest 310.4.0)

I really like the Dora too. Initially I was a little disappointed in my combat results,until I heard Greg say(pretty sure it was Greg) that if you're in the Dora,you have no business trying to turn fight most fighters.The P47 is fair game though. And the key to the Dora,for me, is to keep your speed high and quit pulling back on the stick.It will fly beautifully.

I had the correct path after all,and had renamed "default" to "english",however,even with the english option showing in the drop down list for custom cockpits,I still had the default/non-english cockpit. Turns out that my file "Cockpit-F1EE" was named "Cockpit_F1EE". Thats it. My question now: Is there a list of proper file names for each module in DCS? Thanks!

I am having trouble with this. I am pretty sure its just my file path errors,but wondering if anyone has the english cockpit mod working.Thanks.

I have had the autopilot unable to be reset,along with an almost unflyable aircraft. Restarting the mission and all is good.

Open the kneeboard on-screen,and 98% of the shimmering is gone. I just drag the kneeboard down to the corner,barely visible,to control the excessive shimmering. The F5 is dramatically affected as well. Hard to get past looking at that shimmer.

Same here. I tried different keybinds,and LCtrl+C,and nothings works. I can only close/open the canopy with a mouse click. The keybind for that used to work.

Very cool....I hadnt seen that... In my minds eye I see a Mig21 upgrade/re-mastered release countdown,lol. But VERY excited about the Corsair and the whole extension of DCS WW2.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I did mess up the F1CE axis settings for TrackIR. .The forums are one of the great features of DCS.

Just getting going on the F1,and I just cant solve why TrackIR works perfectly for the F1 EE and F1 BE,but not on the F1 CE.........Any help would be great.

I think DCS should just drop everything,and get a P-38 done.

Seems real quiet,on the support of this map. I always buy a module etc. when I can see that there is active work being done on a product and even when the product may be buggy, or not working right. I dont see the support here-- and thats with a good sale happening right now. Holding off on my purchase.

Great that you got the rudder pedals fixed. I also use the Saitek pedals,and so far,they have been very reliable. But I dont really like 'em,lol. I am curious,since you had them apart,did you try any lubrication or something to get the pedal movements smooth? Mine are incapable of fine movements-which is why I dont like them.

Is the latest Kola update just waiting on the next DCS update??

Thanks. Sounds really useful. I look at a 2TB SSD as minimal now.. I can see myself filling that to capacity in the near future. And all I have on my SSD right now is DCS and IL2.....
