  1. Same gun, both are 30 mm 2A42 A/C, used on the BMP-2 IFV.. Just mounted differently. Would the Rate of Fire be adjusted on the BS?
  2. Q: What new naval/land/AA weapons are in the game? Will the AI be improved, and easier to manage in mission development?
  3. Thanks for the quick reply. Just another quick question, would certain HE munitions feature self destruct capability? ie: 23mm HEI-T fired from ZSU-23-4 will self destruct after 6-8 seconds.. Therefore creating a nice light show @ night.
  4. Would this game feature realistic projectile external ballistics? Correct trajectory/velocity drop and dispersion for cannons and guns? Correct damage modeling of ground base vehicles against certain types of munitions? IE: 30mm HE rounds from the KA-50 would not destroy heavy AFV likes Tanks.. and Kinetic energy rounds @ long distances have reduced damage effects.
  5. No its not in 1.1.. and its not an addon... I just used the Pylon editors to include A2G weapons, and used the A-10A cockpit so you can used the A2G weapons..
  6. You need to assign refuel waypoints for the KC-10A, also if the AI Aircrafts is low in fuel and is within 75nm of the KC-10A it woul automatically fly towards it and ask for a refuel... wells thats how i did it..

Well, i was in a F-15C Escort a KC-10A Refuelling aircraft, while flying ahead on autopilot... following the waypoints, no bogeys sighted, just cruising alone, but the visibility had degraded somewhat due to aircraft exhaust polluting the atmosphere.. There were 2 F-15E (modified F-15C to carry A2G based weapons) flying to destroy their designated targets, while needing to refuel on their way to destroy their targets... Anyways ill just let the pictures speak for themselves... note to self; AI wingmans are totally incompetent...

What i find, really annoying is the MiG-31 endurance, it seems to me with full load out of 4*R33E and 4*R60's, and full fuel capacity, that the range of the aircraft seems to be 50-80nm... after immediate takeoff from the airfield, it seems to engage afterburners straight away until its gets within range of the target to fire its R-33Es.. i think thats the reason it has low endurance, as its engages afterburners for a long amount of time. Does this just happen to me, or have everyone else figured how to make the MiG-31 have a longer flight time.. May i ask what variant is the MiG-31 in Lockon is? From what i know of the MiG-31M "Foxhound-B" it has a range of about 460Nm, with full loads of R-77s and R-37s, with afterburners without external fuel tanks... so i can assume this is one of the earlier models, whereby to maintain long range it needs aerial refueling? If anyone figure out how to make the MiG-31 have a longer range without aerial refuelling give me some tips on how the waypoints are meant to be. As my waypoints seems to be, climb to Altitude of 45,000ft @ speeds of 360mph and maintain cruise speed of 400mph... and with that it can only travel about 70nm before turning back to land... so any tips on how to make it have more range would be appreciated..
  9. AGP, get a 6800GT or X800XL they are fairly cheap, tho the XL would be a better choice, as they are overclockable to X850XT speeds..
  10. Okay, i finally made it so the tico's can fire its tomahawk missiles @ land base targets... just needs alot of fine tuning and alot pf patience.. I have 2 Tico's, firing 3 Tomahawk Missiles each @ 6 separate static ground targets (Hangers).. Im in a MiG-29S armed with 2 R-27R and 4 R-73 also with AWACs support, and ive have to intercept the missiles before they hit their designated targets.. ive tried many times but i cant seem to get my R27s to hit... ive even fired it within 1 Mile from the missile, and i still miss, tho the R73 seems to have a higher chance of hitting.. So i was able to destroy 4 Tomahawk missiles.. and 2 were able to hit their targetrs sucessfully. Ive also tried intercepting them with an IAF F-15C with 4 AIM-7 2 AIM-120C and 2 AIM-9M, the 120s and 7s totally miss, ive tried firing @ the tomahawks headon and from behind, and they can seem to sucessfully track and destroy the missiles.. while the sidewinders have no trouble... Seems like all the Radar guided missiles have trouble hitting small aerial targets... ill keep trying, but if anyone has any ideas on how to intercept sub-sonic cruise missiles i would like to know.

  12. I love the Naval Aspect or war ^.^ I totally agree on the cruise missile thing, make them player friendly, so we can make some nice mission with Cruiser support.

Could be made for various missions.. Rafale New Generation 4 Aircraft by the reknown French company Dassault..Multirole fighter for the next generation.. Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter Basically the same as the Rafale, Advance Multi-role aircraft for the British and German Airforces... F/A 22A Raptor An Advance Tactical Aircraft for the Next generation, to replace the aging F-15.. would be great to have this aircraft in the game.. Semi-stealth fighter.. Ground Vehicles Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank A MBT for the British Forces.. a combat proven Tank used in the Gulf war and the recent War in Iraq. T-72 Medium Tank A older tank for the M48,M60 and Leopard 2 to blow up ^^ Possible Ground Troops?? RPG-7 Close Range Anti-tank Personnel.. LAW Close Range Anti-tank Personnel.. Naval Vessels CGN-38 Virginia Class An older vessel to match up to the Russian older ships counter-parts. Virginia class guided missile cruisers were equipped to fulfill multiple tasks in all warfare mission areas. PHM 1 Pegasus PHM 1 Pegasus hydrofoil boats were designed to operate offensively against hostile surface combatants and other surface craft; and conduct surveillance, screening and special operations. A Coastal patrol boat to compete with the Russian Tarantul class patrol vessel.. <--- Does it even fire the SS-N-22 missile in the game?
  15. lol, not the multiplayer bug >.< Okay, i will still love it if this game had the scud missile in it, loaded with a 4 ton HE warhead..
  16. Will there ever gonna be a nuclear bomb or missile ever in Lockon?? Will there also be short range Ballistic missiles too? Like a SCUD-B? I was wondering if it possible to implement a B61 tactical nuclear bombs into the game.. or other nuclear devices..
  17. Oh btw, did they implement the Kh-15C kickback into the game, the missile is presently in 1.02 but does not have an icon, an no Russian Aircraft can use it.. So i was wondering did they enable the Kh-15C kicback onto the Tu-22M3 in 1.1 FC?
  18. FYI, The AM.39 exocet missile is sub-sonic, travels @ 0.9 mach towards its target with a maximum effective range of 65KMs and is sea-skimming too ^^

  20. ahh kk, thanks for clarifying it for me, so sub-sonic missiles just suck in the game >.< Well atleast the P-500 and P-700 are able to destroy ships with 1 shot.. Also on a side-note, is it possible to modify the game to include mores missiles? Like add the Exocet missiles for the French Airforce? Modify existing missiles to act differently?
