  1. As a newcomer to the DCS, I just wanna say: please resolve this. I am super-interested in the F-15E (seeing that the F-15C was my very first A/C in DCS), the Harrier and the M-2000. All three of them are like in the top 5 of my next purchases (next to the F-4E), but there is no way I am going to spend money on these modules with the development being on hold. Not knowing any of the preceding drama and without pointing fingers, I would appreciate it if the people responsible (whoever that is) just got over it and continued developing (and hence making money and increasing the companies' prestige levels again ;). I am afraid though that this is already in lawyers' hands and so things have the potential to get drawn out indefinitely. PS: To not end on a sour note, I want to express my happiness that the South Atlantic map is still being developed despite being a module by Razbam. It will be some time before I buy that particular map but it's good to know that work continues in this department.
  2. I am a beginner and this is my first campaign but I think finding the drone is super frustrating as well. I've watched Connor's playthrough of this specific situation multiple times, I've tried the mission myself multiple times, and when I find the drone it seems to be pure luck. Even my three wingmen need about 20 minutes (sped up) to find the drone when I give them the mission order. (I think when you issue that order they go back to the CAP area and just stumble upon the drone as soon as it comes into their area.) Possible solutions: 1. I would assume the AWACS is able to not only spot such a big drone for a few seconds but also keep the track? So maybe it is possible to at least have the contact permanently on the HSD aka Datalink16? That would make tracking the target a lot easier. 2. Since I understand that you want to make this a bit more difficult, maybe you can have the drone hover around a specific zone and let the AWACS give you specific intel (bearing 315, hovering) --- that way the player still needs to find it with their eyeballs but doesn't have to navigate around the map blindly.
  3. I've noticed this as well. Mission 1 - no problems. But in mission 2 and mission 3, some of the dialogue transcriptions disappear after the first sentence is spoken.
  4. I am not saying that you made the same mistake but it is not enough to set the right frequency, you also have to press the correct transmit button. As per the manual, p. 256 (upd Dec. 20th 2024): I wanted to scream here in the forums: the tanker doesn't work, it won't respond! my wingmen doesn't comply and doesn't answer! Not even the tower is answering! Wtf! No, it was simply my error to only press [\]. Once I used the correct transmit switches, my wingman (wingwoman?) engaged like a proper fighter pilot (and much better than I did).
  5. As a newcomer to DCS, I approve of this kind of thing! Currently playing the Dragon's Fury campaign and it's just nice to have the Chinese assets pack and the Marianas map for free. I still am going to buy Kola and Syria and the Viggen and the Warthog and some campaigns during this sale --- it's just great not every piece of new content is a paid module! The patch also rocks. I didn't expect that, today of all days!
