  2. I think for "basic functionality" it's better to have robust systems built directly into the game.
  3. +1 ED, Give us all the combinations, especially if the models are already in the files... Grey kits on regular bodies simply look cool and coated bodies (navy) with older green kits are needed for historic naval aviation.

  6. Yes "RWR force off", would be good even for modern jets, because AI has way too good situational awareness through RWR alone.
  7. At 0:16 sec there are camouflage nettings seen in the video. Are those "tent" objects new? WIP? Already in the sim somewhere?
  8. This is true. I think there should be better documentation though. Last time i checked it didn't tell you that flat shadows are CPU drawn for example. Also better documentation on things like preload radius... There's a lot of misinformation floating around because without documentation people are susceptible to placebo effects when setting those things.
  9. +1 ED needs to figure out how to master their textures better. I play on 1080p but still need to run textures at max, because everything lower is extremely inconsistent visually. We need medium (and low) texture settings that look decent instead of the current mixed bag...
  10. Is the development of new infantry (i assume with new animation system) tied to (missing) crew of (for example) AAA guns? I hope that a new system for Infantry would make it easier to put visible crew in vehicles, guns and emplacements...

  13. I think runway visibility is generally decent, but there should be mission editor control to force lights on or off.
  14. Ich finde ja, dass die A-7 das "zweitbeste" Flugzeug überhaupt ist (Nach der A-6 natürlich) und bin auch sehr gespannt auf das DCS Modul. Bin nur etwas skeptisch was den Entwickler angeht. Hat einer schon Module von denen geflogen (in anderen Sims) und kann was zur Qualität sagen? Bei der MS Sim gibt es ja Module im Shop die echt richtig schlecht sind und erstmal keine Qualifikation für ein DCS Module darstellen sollten...
  15. I've read about the 104 having an IR sensor. Is it comparable to what we now would call IRST. Did it work well?
  16. Well, if you drop them one by one, they'll flip the damn plane.
  17. That's very plausible. Dual GBU-16 single drop is fun and interesting in the sim, but if someone's life depended on it, i'd always go for a different loadout. Enough options with GBU-10 and 12...
  18. I don't think the trees were the performance hog people think they were. I only struggled over Guam proper. I suspect the general scene complexity there is the culprit. Caucasus runs super fast and it also has a lot of trees (but not much more)...
