  1. Turned out that the firewall software in my AV was broken. Was showing Launcher as allowed, but was really blocking it. I repaired it and then it worked. Stupid antivirus....piece of crap...@#%#^$*& :furious:
  2. New World install from scratch. Still can't login.
  3. I think I'm going for a clean re-install. Thanks for all suggestions.
  4. I can login to the website and can see all my records. When trying in World, it says user name or password wrong. EDIT: 1) This was after a "successful" install of latest update. 2) Repair fixes nothing. 3) when trying DCS_Updater.exe install WORLD
  5. Not that I think that anything will be (or could be) done about it... but here it goes... The file above does not seem to work anymore after update 1.2.1. Surprisingly, after a fresh install, I did not have the flashing squares at all. However, after patch 6192, the flashing squares are back with a vengeance. They seem to be related to the aircraft strobe lights. If I have them off, I see a lot less (like 1 every 2-3 minutes), but with them on is Christmas time in the Caucasus...:santa: actually ... :sad_2: Back to flying with no HDR. I miss the nice sun effect...:cry_2: On the bright side, I can crank up everything to high and get very nice frame rates.
  6. In another thread the following post was referenced as a possible fix for a cloud display issue. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1509264&postcount=139 So I went ahead and installed the fix as a preemptive measure, even though I did not have the cloud issue. Lo and behold, there were no flashing squares AT ALL on my last flight. :D I don't know if this was the fix or not, so, could anybody with the issue try this and report please? -Sapphire 6970 HD 3GB -Catalyst 12.7 Beta -64 bit install
  7. Fixed. Deleted the DCS folder in my profile's "Saved Games" folder.
  8. Got the same issue with Training, but in my case started happening after doing the first training mission in the Mustang. Core i7-950 Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 8GB Corsair DDR3 1600 Windows Ultimate 64 Bit ASUS Sabertooth X58 MB I uninstalled the 1.1.2.0 , rebooted, and then installed 1.1.2.1. All other modules seem to work, except Training, which just stays at the "loading..." screen. Have to end the Launcher to be able to get out.
