No, you don't need to change anything. All changes are done in one file (high.scn). LockOn will always display the additions, even in the quick-combat missions available in the main menu. Missions and campaigns are still compatible between users that use or not use the new scenery -

Maybe in one of the Beta's but not in the Final release as far as I can see. -
Hello all, After almost 3 months and some 350 manhours of hard labour, I'm proud to release the FINAL version of my modded Scenery file. Download high.scn final1 here: http://rapidshare.de/files/13528346/high-scn_final_1.zip.html For slower PC's I also made a medium scnery file. http://rapidshare.de/files/13528983/medium-scn_final_1.zip.html Anyone is invited to mirror the files. Installation: - Move file high.scn and/or medium.scn in folder ..lockon\bazar\terrain\scenes to a safe location. - Unzip file high.scn and/or medium.scn into the mentioned folder. - Start lockon and select scenes=high in the graphics menu and FLY! Contents: The modd adds about 1900 objects. Some 1500 of them are tree formations. All objects are positioned on and around airbases and surrounding towns. In addition I've created something extra: - Industrial site (45°49'22"N - 33°31'34"E) - Armour storage fascillity (45°38'19"N - 34°28'48"E) - Scout grass-airfield (43°31'00"N - 43°36'48"E) - Seperatists hide-out (43°08'24"N - 41°56'23"E) - Seperatists hide-out (43°23'27"N - 41°18'08"E) I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I do and look forward to seeing the additions in your screens and movies. I don't know what you mean here. I will release Beta3 (final) this month. and it will be both the Medium as the High scenery file.

You can find them in the Bazar\world\shapes folder. With some simple copy/paste actions they can be used in the game. -The first one on the left is a launcher vehicule for the Tu243-Reis missile. -The second one a Uragan 9K57 - Multiple Launch Rocket System. -Don't know about the last four. There are more of them and some are used in my scenery-mod to be released soon. -

Progress Update: Kirovskoye is done after 10 hours of non-stop hard work :icon_jook . Only one more to go. If you have comments, now is the time. All pics made with scenes and visibility set to High. There are some 50 tree-formations and 35 other objects on/around the airfield. This is how it looks in the editor:

On special request I've decided to release a Beta file of the MEDIUM scenery in LockOn. This will enable players with slower PC's to enjoy the additions. Download Beta2.1 here... http://rapidshare.de/files/12098381/medium_scenery_Beta2-1.zip.html (Feel free to mirror) Installation: - move file medium.scn in folder ..\lockon\bazar\terrain\scenes to a safe place, - unzip the downloaded file into the above mentioned folder, - start LockOn, select scenes=medium in the graphics menu and FLY! I still need a few weeks to rework the last few airbases and complete the High-scenery file so bare with me. Please test the beta's and give me some feedback! In this beta2.1 the 'ammo-dump' bug is solved and it comprises the following reworked airbases: Anapa Belbek Gelendzhik Gudauta Gvardesyskoye Kerch Kersones Krasnodar-center Kraznogvardeysk Krymsk Majkop Novorossiysk Oktyabrskoye Saki Simferopol Sochi SukhumiPS: ED anounced that BlackShark will have new trees. I don't know how this will affect this mod but I have good hopes it won't.

Will these new tree files be compatible with the old ones (in other words, will my "adding trees mod" still be usable?) PS:Looking forward to the F-16CJ.

There are no plans of implementing the additions to an official new release/patch of LockOn that I know of. But I would be proud to assist ED if they would ask me to. Progress report: Krymsk is done. Next project: Krasnodar
