I had a quick test of this over the weekend and think it has great potential! Once I got used to hand gestures I found it to be a great addition and very useful. I need to test it a little more as I seemed to be getting some additional mouse clicks without making the gestures, when I disabled hand gestures in game and switched back to using the mouse. Thanks for your hard work so far :thumbup:

Great idea starting this thread and its great to see other people's photos and stories! I've recently taken to riding my Honda Firestorm again due to my car's engine dying last week. It makes getting to work so much quicker and so much more fun when compared to my dead 1.2l Vauxhall Corsa, but it does like to drink a lot of petrol! :D I've also attached a pic of my Honda VFR400 which was my first bike and I still own today. It currently needs a little cosmetic work but I still love it all the same :thumbup:

I haven't been in the mission editor for a long time now, but one of the things I remember causing me issues was the height of the waypoint vs. the ground height. In other words, make sure they're the same :)

One of the first things I noticed when I landed in New Zealand a few years ago was the crisp blue sky...ahhh brings pack memories :) There was definitely a noticeable difference (for me) between the UK and NZ skies. Each to their own I suppose; the colour of the sky in DCS World isn't something I've really paid too much attention to so far.

Awesome, I am yet to see/hear an A-10. I Was hoping to see them around Spangdahlem this year whilst on holiday in the area, but they left the base just as I was driving to Germany :( I live close to the Red Arrows base at Scampton so I'm often treated to low passes and formation flying when they're training before the show season starts. Sometimes get AH-64's and the odd C-130 on a low pass too.

Thanks for hosting the mission last night and thanks to Ghost for building it. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to flying the next missions too, hopefully in a Ka-50 :)

Great mission, thanks for taking the time to create and share this. Strangely I managed to land on my first attempt, although I was about 20 feet to the right so I had to quickly correct that. Oh and my "glideslope" was rather bumpy, but I managed to get it right when it mattered. Still, thanks to your mission I know where I need to improve and I can practice further.

I do practically all of my flying in MP missions and mostly against AI. I prefer this set up because it enables you to have more humans on one side. I personally like the idea of an A-10C ground attack mission with F-15C support. The only thing I would add to that is maybe a 2 ship attachment of Su-25T's for SEAD strikes but I appreciate it doesn't quite mix right with the US aircraft theme. I guess you could maybe add an AI F-16 package but I find having more of a selection of roles in MP missions makes them more interesting and requires good teamwork and co-operation.

Excellent idea, I can't wait to try it out. I am hoping to test this mission with about 8 people from my 82nd VFW group tomorrow evening. If we manage to test it, I will let you know how we get on.

Well I also use the Warthog Hotas stick plus TrackIR, so I have no need for the view panning functions which are assigned to the trim hat by default. I just deleted those bindings and then assigned each trim direction on the hat switch to the trim functions. I guess if you don't have TrackIR, you could still do this but in order to pan the view around, just use the pinky switch paddle as a modifier.

Please can I take a slot in Chevy 1 as Blue Ka-50 :)

Thanks very much for taking the time to host this mission last night, I had a great time despite a couple of server crashes. I'm sure it will get better each week :) I also had FPS issues around Gori which I guess was due to the amount of units in action and the huge amount of explosions happening around there. Otherwise it was a great mission and it was good to see so many people turn up. I look forward to the next one :D

Great idea! I've been looking forward to an online game like this ever since Combined Arms was announced. I'm in the same squadron/group as Sweet and hopefully we can get another 2 or 3 people to join too.

I have posted a topic in my small community forum as I know some of the members there use the Warthog HOTAS and may be interested in these.
