I feel like with IL2 Korea coming out next year, ED should look to upgrade or overhaul the Mig-15 and F-86. Both of these planes have very outdated cockpits (in my opinion probably some of the worst looking in the sim besides FC3). I can't speak on whether other stuff besides visuals could use an upgrade but I know these planes don't meet the standards of newer ED products.
