Forum UI elements hidden by clouds (again)

I wonder why it came back ? -
The first half of the year will be a beach. Don't count on much (La-7 maybe). The earliest something will probably start to appear is around Q2 (I bet MiG-29 in June), or World War II (F6F, AI asset, Marianas map update ) maybe April/May. However, I agree about the Afghanistan map. From a period of 3 months (for the next part) it has already become a period of 8 months and this is quite strange, because during this time there was not a single update of the map. It seems that they were waiting for the release of Iraq in a new form, which was very well received. Now this technology is probably being transferred to the Afghanistan map, but here again we are talking about several months that have passed and there are still no updates. So maybe March update, I hope?

In the case of User Files, the main problem I see now is the size of the file that can be uploaded. It is now 300 Mb only, which is too little. New textures often have 4K resolution and more + other files. This causes repainting to be 500 Mb sometimes if additional model elements are added. 300 Mb is simply not enough. The limit should be increased to 500 Mb according me.

Unfortunately it's just MSFS, but isn't this plane beautiful? Make it for DCS after F-104! We now have a map of Iraq, oh how it would fit there...

Heatblur Simulations: Towering over the improvements to the F-14, feature additions to the F-4E and addition of other elements; the biggest development challenge ahead for our team lies with DCS: Eurofighter and getting this mighty jet in your hands. As we progress we look forward to sharing more snippets of development as we start targeting release. There is still a lot of work to be done; but we're excited to experience the Eurofighter together with you all in the virtual skies.

Did you solve the CTD problem with DLSS 4? I remember you wrote that you have it quite often. And what method did you use? Manual installation of NVidia Inspector + files or just DLSS Sweaper?

Heatblur Simulations: Tomcat Update! In some ways; 2025 is a year of checking off some long standing features. Together with the A-6E AI and Draken AI units nearing completion; we're also working on finishing up the "Early A" F-14. The Early A will come with the much more basic and old-school ALR-45 RWR, and we will also be adding some new visual options to the F-14, such as the bullet fairing and extremely early, non-TCS chin pod. The front panel of the aircraft in both cockpits changes markedly; as the ALR-67 display is deleted; as well as changes to the right hand RIO panels. Together with a few other changes; you will be able to fly a Tomcat more authentic to the earlier part of its service life. We're also adding more visual features, such as inert AIM-7s, ALQ-167 visual models, the expanded chaff adapter (ECA) and more. More visual upgrades such as new effects and other fun Tomcat announcements to come throughout 2025 for DCS World; as we port some of our Phantom features and prepare for the next leg in our Tomcat journey!

Thx. However I dont use ASW, dont like it. Prefer stable 72 FPS with 72 Hz. Only PCVR (Link cable, 650mbps) .

In DCS I have 1.0 but Im using OTT (for Meta Quest) for upscaling with better results (like FOV etc. However thx for the tip. I don't know if you know but there is an easier way to start safe mode in Windows. Use the Start menu > click LShift and hold > click restart (Windows). After starting you will immediately have The safe mode. I always use this to remove drivers using DDU.

Thx I'll try. Generally I'm happy still with MSAA in VR and it still works for me, it's ok, I don't complain about the performance in DCS at all, but on the other hand using DLSS you can increase the resolution because there will be an increase in performance, so with DLAA you can still have a sharp image, but for me the obstacle was too blurry image with DLSS 3 in VR plus ghosting. This was a barrier for me with DLSS 3. I'll check this DLSS 4, thanks.

I found this quite easy method:
-
I've heard that DLSS Overwrite doesn't work with DCS though, so you can't officially test DLSS4. Is there any idea for a quick installation and test of DLSS4 without additional programs? Just replacing the appropriate files? So it turns out that this is not some Holy Grail for Sims users. I suspected so. As long as ghosting is visible and one pixel is invisible (spotting dots) then it is still an option associated with a compromise. Probably not for me, these are "no-go" elements.

What about DLSS 4 native support for DCS? -
Lunar Sale | Su-25A Announced | MiG-29 Pilot Helmet

Thanks for the good news about the Su-25, although I'm still waiting for news about FF and full clickability in the cockpit. When I saw the first picture I thought it was the announcement like with the F-15C, but oh well, we're waiting for another news like that, not yet, not yet ... More shots: -
Somebody tested it already? What about ghosting in VR with DLSS 4?
