Probably this Friday - 3.01. Then part of the team is away for the holidays, so that's basically the only reasonable date. The last was 5th January of 2024.

Maybe record the track if you notice it, check that it will be present in the reply again and put the track here. It's always worth removing metashader2 and fxo after installing new patches to check if it's a problem with old shaders + to do clean up too.

After a week of fun I will say and repeat as a VR user. Great job. I have set to AUTO for Quest (although I use quite a large upscaling to about 3100x3100pxt by eye, so the resolution is quite large), I didn't even need to check other options, but now everything is ok. Targets in the air and on the ground scale great and it finally started to look normal and realistic. Zooming the image Im able to see the target from quite a distance (spyglass) but this is ok with such a large zoom for VR, but without it it appears in the range of 10-6 nm, which is realistic. For those who don't like Auto - we still have the option of 1x or 2x pixel or OFF so everyone should find the right option for themselves. Big thanks ED for this work, the end of the year is 100% satisfaction in this respect :)! I'll add that I've been quite critical of the changes for people in VR that have come over the last year and I've complained quite a bit and the topic is very familiar to me, so all the more respect to ED for this work !

Video "2025 and Beyond" this Friday? Last year it was - 05 January 2024. Orthodox holidays are January 7-9, so an earlier date is possible. Q1 will probably be a "desert". Maybe La-7 will appear. MiG-29 probably in June. Maybe a patch for the Afghanistan map plus a new part will appear. Everything will focus on the 2nd half of the year, I think. I don't know about Hellcat, I have no idea at all what stage it is at, because there has been nothing about it for a long time. Happy New Year for all!

After the last patch something happened to OVRD function. Pressing with the mouse or button immediately causes CTD of the entire DCS. If you use FCR on the right MFD, same thing. IndiaFoxtEcho: DCS G-91 PROJECT UPDATE ++++++++++++++++++ In the past few weeks our DCS Team made significant progress with the G.91 configuration and weapon system, so here is a quick update on where we are with this: NOTE: AICRAFT TEXTURES AND 3D MODEL ARE JUST WIP PLACEHOLDERS - ALSO SCREENSHOTS INCLUDE GEOMETRY WITH MISSING TEXTURES - rest assured that everything will look much better in future In addition to the familiar MK81, MK82, and MK83 in their low-drag, snakeye, and AIR versions, LR-25 rocket pods with ARF-8/M3 rockets, LAU-3 rocket pods with FFAR rockets, and cluster bombs, we have decided to add air-to-air capabilities to our module by integrating the AIM-9B. Although the designers of the time had already equipped the aircraft with a dedicated system for this missile, flight tests (particularly those conducted by the Portuguese Air Force) never yielded positive results due to the seeker's inability to lock onto heat sources. Fortunately, DCS is not reality and allows us to achieve goals that the designers and specialists of the time could not. So, keep an eye on the sun and prepare for the best firing solution to maximize your chances of a successful hit! We have alos been working on the specific launcher for the HVAR rockets. I think that there is currently some problem for VR users (maybe some patch moved something here). The previous 2 screenshots show that the fit is perfect, and this is a discovery from a moment ago. When I give "aiming" a little lower, below the cross, I have the Align OK! information. The problem is that it is not in the center. VR screen: Currently it is the case that 100% of aiming at the center of the cross results in fail. Btw. It's also possible that 2D is currently affected too. Someone would have to check with TrackIR. On the recreated 2D track but recorded in VR I can see that both crosses are in place and centered, and yet there was an "Align Fail".

Track included. Because the recording is in VR there is no same perspective here, but additionally you can also see much more vibrations and even heartbeats which is normal. I think that in some way it is visible during the leveling process for HMCS and ultimately it spoils the proper completion of this process. This is not a new topic and is not often updated too, but does anyone finally have a solution for VR users? Unfortunately, sometimes I have Align OK and sometimes Fail. I only fly in VR and honestly it's hard for me to tell why the align process sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, since I always repeat the same procedure (cold start only). VR screen:

Let's be happy that it will even be in version A. It has been repeated many times that ED will not deal with Russian aircraft from the 4th generation beyond what came out / FC (due to the restrictions they have). So we have an extra gift. There is no point in complaining, so the answer is very simple. We also have a chance for MiG-23 from ED, but it's 3rd generation. Nothing else (newer) has come out yet and there's no point in counting on it. Maybe some 3rd party will do something someday, but for now there's nothing on this subject.

I saw posts related to the non-remaster version too but no one reported about FC version (this is a simplified version).
