  1. Last I heard was in late October 2023. He seemed to be making good progress on the project. I hope he returns - he had some great products in the works.

    KC10 Tanker

Can we get the KC10 Tanker added. The KC10's Airborne TACAN can provide bearing and range information on the HSI. The KC135 Tanker only has range information available with their TACAN.
  3. The Threat Warning Prime panel looks odd. The bezel is missing the text, but also the button faces look smaller? Or, their frames are thinner? Something's not right. Here is how the real TWP panel in my simpit looks. DCS: Please label the panel.
  4. Yes, this would help pitbuilders. Please implement.
  5. Ok. Good info. Thanks. Pressing Enter for LAT and LON is a bit weird. I'm assuming the values are correct anyway - so why ask? If its always correct. Old technology i guess.
  6. Normal alignment. I did accidently click the DCS toggle out of the DED page (back to the main C&I) so I couldn't watch the alignment countdown, and didn't know how to get back to it. The HUD however did shown ALIGN and READY. Reviewing the video above it looks like I may have missed the Pressing ENTER for LAT and LON during the first two minutes. If I recall I only pressed ENTER once. I'll try the flight again.
  7. Just completed a training flight over NTTR, practicing some basic navigation with steer points and observed the following: 1. No Nav data in the lower right corner of my HUD. No steer point number, no ETA, no distance or slant range to steer point. 2. The ICP rocker for incrementing / decrementing the steer point does nothing. To change to a different steer point I must enter the STPT(4) menu and type in the steer point. 3. Auto pilot will not track to the steer point, when set for that mode. The HUD does show NAV mode of the left. I think this problem must be due to to the INS alignment, but it did show ALGN and READY on the HUD during startup. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong here?
  8. In the past there was an option when an download started - to choose accept the torrent default or choose a regular file download. I always chose the non-torrent option. I don't see that option anymore - I guess i missed the change that was implemented or there is a setting somewhere that I don't know about. Is there still an option for the non-torrent download? If not, is the DCS torrent on my PC seeding and providing downloads to other systems on the internet? If the torrent client is performing this service to others how can i disable it?
  9. Thanks. I know about the HDG bug. But its not ideal since it needs readjustment... so no autopilot tracking of TACAN i guess. How about TACAN track indication on the HUD? Is the tadpole just steerpoint?
  10. Is there a way to navigate by TACAN station with the autopilot, or does the autopilot only track to steerpoints?
  11. Thanks DM. I was recently looking for those.
  12. Thanks guys. Looks like the binds "DOGFIGHT/CENTER" and "MISSILE OVERRIDE/CENTER". worked for me.
  13. Looking for information on how to bind the Center or "off" position for the Dog Fight / Missle Override switch on a ThrustMaster Cougar throttle. In the Control assignment there are multiple lines for assigning these three positions. I'd like to understand the difference settings and why there are so many assignment lines for these three positions. I have the DogFight and Missle Override positions bound, but not the Center position. So if I switch to Dogfight or Missle Override I can't get out of those modes. Can someone point me to the info explaining the different mapping options. Thanks.
  14. Try these https://www.neoengress.com/ http://thecockpitshop.com/
  15. Rel4y I sent you a couple eMails on my parts order. Please let me know when these are available and when I can send payment. Thanks. John
  16. Ya. Its worth the money. There's a bunch of good videos out there for configuring it.
  17. Sacarino111 - thanks I'll check out the info. Thanks.
  18. Actually the F16 and A10 sticks are not the same. The A10 manual will show you the HOTAS controls. There should be a picture and assignments reference in the front part of the A10 manual. I'd look there.
  19. I'd have to look into how that installs. Its not a program I planned on using for all its other features - just want a simple extraction to the other two monitors. DCS makes it difficult. I hear you though, I'll take a look at it.
  20. Thanks guys for all the input. I'm trying out these suggestions. While the cockpit in the DCS F16 really looks great - there are some weird dimensions going on with the FOV. I'm sure everyone has noticed how small and unreadable the MFD information is... don't have these issues flying the BMS F16 - those MFD screens are readable and large enough. I hope DCS can fix this - for me the aircraft is unflyable in air combat - simply cannot see what is happening the radar screen. I'm going to try extracting the MFD screens onto two 7" displays I have mounted behind my TM MFDs -that's my only hope right now for making use of the MFD information. But I guess exporting MFD views is not very simple from what I've read.
