  2. Check us out! http://www.blackknightssquadron.com/
  3. Can someone post a link to the old 2.5.5 version? I run Stable build for our VFS missions, and this mod would really help us out! Thanks!
  4. The “Black Knights” are a U.S.-based virtual squadron that has been flying co-op multiplayer missions in combat flight sims for over 15 years. We’re a group of dedicated virtual pilots who enjoy the teamwork and fellowship that accompanies flying cooperative PvE missions together . Our squadron specializes in Air-to-Ground and multi-role missions, offering a variety of fixed and rotary wing aircraft to choose from. Squadron members design our own elaborate missions and campaigns in-house, offering something unique and new to fly every week. Unlike repetitive or PvP missions hosted on 24/7 servers, our missions feature backstories, online pre-flight mission briefings, and realistic depictions of historical battles as well as fictional ‘what if’ scenarios. If you are looking for a structured multiplayer mission experience that goes beyond what single-player missions and campaigns can offer, this is it! Having recently completed a tour of duty in the AV-8B, the “Black Knights” are preparing to undergo familiarization training in the F-14 Tomcat... offering an opportunity to fly as a PILOT or RIO in our co-op format. We are now accepting pilot candidate applications to fill a limited number of openings in the squadron. Candidates must be willing and able to commit on a regular basis to participating once a week on Monday nights, from 20:00 – 23:30 Central Time with the squadron. 7. Update: I finally got both working together. I had to completely wipe and re-install DCSW. Always the "nuclear option"... go figure.

  9. Thanks for the Export, Hans. Appreciate your assistance, towsim! I agree the issue is not an Aries issue. Was hoping someone watching this thread was running DCS-BIOS with Aries, and I got my answer. Still can't get both to work, but I doubt it has anything to do with Aries. In any case, I'll send you my Aries log just to confirm.
  10. This is my Export.lua dofile("./AriesWings/AriesRadio.luac") dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DCS-BIOS\BIOS.lua]]) Just those two lines. Should there be more? I've tried swapping the order, with no luck. Perhaps if I could see an example of someone's working Export.lua, I could see what I'm missing.
  11. Curious if anyone has any experience running Aries Airborne Radio along with DCS-BIOS? Alone, they run fine, but when I try to run DCS-BIOS with Aries, DCS-BIOS stops working. Both require entries in Export.lua. Thanks!
  12. Does anyone have any experience running Flightpanels along with Aries Airborne Radio? Alone, they both run fine, but when I try to run Flightpanels with Aries, my switch panel stops working. It appears to be receiving data from DCS, as the gear lights switch on green after A-10C battery power is online. But none of the switches send any commands to the sim. I'm running the switch panel under DCS-BIOS. Both Aries and DCS-BIOS require entries in Export.lua, and I suspect there's a conflict going on, but the Aries code is all .luac encrypted, so there's no way to tell what ports are in use. Suggestions? Thanks!
  13. Does anyone have any experience running Aries along with DCS-BIOS? Alone, they run fine, but when I try to run DCS-BIOS with Aries, DCS-BIOS doesn't work. Both require entries in Export.lua, and I wonder if there is not a port conflict going on? DCS-BIOS sends data to localhost address 127.0.0.1 over port 7778. Thanks!
  14. You'd think, right? Unfortunately, all that does is stop the message text from appearing at the top of the screen. The audio will still play. So to truly silence the AI, you must uncheck the Comm box, or go through the more elaborate process of creating an advanced waypoint action to Silence.
  15. Hey folks - Discovered this rather nasty bug introduced with v1.2.9 update: Any mission with AI aircraft that have the "Comm" checkbox UNCHECKED in the Mission Editor will Crash to Desktop when loaded via the Multiplayer Client. You will then get the "DCS has stopped working" message box. This is easily reproducible. Simply drop an AI aircraft into a new mission, uncheck the "Comm" box, save the mission, exit the Mission Editor, then LOAD the mission via "MULTIPLAYER". Kaboom... CTD while the mission is loading. Note that if you "Fly" the mission from the Mission Editor, it will load just fine. This bug appears only in the Multiplayer Client. Our squadron often unchecks the Comm box in the missions we build, as a way of silencing the chatty AI aircraft during multiplayer. In v1.2.8 and earlier, this was not a problem to do so. ~SkyKnight

  17. Just want to post official Kudos from the squadron, Ranger! I can truly appreciate the time and effort it took to script each one of the "side" missions in HB, any one of which could stand up as a single mission of its own. An impressive feat, and one that was a blast to be part of and participate in! ~SkyKnight CO Black Knights
  18. Digital XBOX headset that's using a bluetooth A2DP adapter to pipe the mic audio into the PC. It's the bluetooth stream that gives it that telephone quality sound.
  19. No issue on my rig, though I'm running an AMD card, and I know you are running Nvidia, so it's not an equal comparison.
  20. I will purchase a set as well. How many more customers do you need? I can drum up at least 2 more if needed.
  21. Likewise. Our squadron just tested TARS 1.0.2b1 with 10 pilots, and no comms were possible with Su25 pilots. A-10 and Ka-50 pilots were able to communicate within one another. Su25 pilots noted that TeamSpeak reported TARS plugin freqs as VHF1: 251.00 VHF2: 119.70 But A-10 and Ka-50 pilots saw the Su25 pilots freqs listed in TeamSpeak as 000.00
  22. That's good news for us multiscreen Helios users, Airdog !
