I was resetting some of my throttle settings and might have deleted the “thrust” category. Is that possible? If so, how do I get it back? This is for the F/A 18 module. Thanks for the help

I'm still running V 1.2.5.16508 and found to get my gauges, rwr, etc to export, the monitor.lua needed to have these names. I made them BOLD. I have completely redesigned my "in-home" pit and will soon post some pics. I also plan to make available the DXF file if anyone wants to use for both the pit and my seat design. Until then, here's the cockpit I've been spending most of my time in.

I think the answer lies in what you enjoy doing. Over the years I've concluded that there are those who like to build cockpits and then there are those who enjoy the sim itself. Some like both. Once a "builder" completes his project, they seem to enjoy moving on to the next "build". If you enjoy the sim more than building, I might suggest building a general purpose pit that can be utilized for many of the DCS titles. That what I'd did.

Well I've had a couple of months using the pit and getting up to speed with the A10c sim and I've learned what I like and don't like about the current pit. With that said, I've re-designed it and will be routing the new design next week. It will be easily configured for racing sims as well. As soon as I get it started I'll post pics and will also share my DXF file and plans for those who would also like to use it. Happy New Year!

I'm a general aviation pilot and own a c172. I agree with the quote above that FSX is great for IFR and navaids.

Couple of questions. Do you have a thrustmaster warthog HOTAS? Are you getting the maverick on the target at all? Walk us through a little of what you ARE able to do so we can get you the rest of the way or the whole process if necessary. DL the mission. Once in the cockpit, the mission clock reads 5:45 (not 5:30) Also, shortly after takeoff, I get an abort abort abort call. I'm using the latest version of DCS world.....I'm also new to DCS so not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for the mission.

I don't think so but does the pressure change when dynamic weather is active? If so, moving from one area to another might have different pressure reading.
