  1. This is so beta... waving whole this "i support devs" thing like a badge of honour is beta even more. I nearly never pay for something that is not available the same moment i payed for it (ok AH-64 is an exception here, because they've built trust in my eyes through those years, and more importantly bcs of preorder discount, it was pure calculation on my side). They don't need "support", no company needs that kind of support (except some indie one-man studios with some brilliant idea) serious business doesnt work like that, they need money spent by gamers for a product they deliver. This kind of "i support devs" behavior is what spoils whole industry.
  2. Yes, you're right. Thought that would be a little bit funny. As i remember sarneg example in this book is SUPERWOMAN. Or i made up something in purpose of presenting funny fact. It's been long time since i've checked that book, that is basicaly a learning script for fresh NCOs. Nevemind. ED give AH-64. NOW. Seriously, i can't wait for it.
  3. A small anegdote from the army i serve. Ok. So there's a this little, OFFICIALLY aprooved by the Ministry of Defence, field manual, more of a quick reference book for N.C.Os, usually infantry squad leaders. And there's a JTAC chapter with whole procedure, authentication, ramrod, check-in, that kind of thing, and there's exemplary chatter between delivery guy and customer. Some funny guy put there something like this as an example: "JTAC 11, this is HOTLESBIAN 11 radio check/how do you read? HOTLESBIAN 11, this is JTAC 11 read you LC." Now that's a catchy name for ya!
  4. Personaly, i've quit playing DCS right after 277 release. Had mostly 60fps (locked) on max, 2k, and it was lowest acceptable value. After patch it's 45-50. Not acceptable. Now since new rig is out of reach (in terms of money and availability) i just regret buying, like an idiot, Ah-64 and even Channel Map (for Mosquito, which i thank fully did not buy)
  5. 2.7 goes to stable. No fix for FPS loss. In my case it's from stable and constant 60 (locked) to 40-45-50 (ground, low, high, sea, land, you get the point) I could make a better use of money i spent on Ah-64 preorder. What's more i bought Channel. i really dont know why...
  6. Yeah. Deleting metacache helped me few months back when there was "everything's too bright and overexposed" problem, corrected by patch. Still metacaches had to be deleted.
  7. God... it's all the same story all the time... Last time there was a problem with overexposed, too bright lighting. As always lots of ppl and devs said everything is fine. Until patch arrived, that corrected this. BTW anybody tried to delete terrain metacache?
  8. Well... looks like i could use my money, spent on AH-64 preorder, better....
  9. God... there's always someone like you. Someone głupio-mądry, as we say it in my country.
  10. BigBadNewy. God. I hope it'll bring back normal satisfying in my case 60 fps. Can't wait for Apache.
  11. Yeah. I remember. There were 11 of us, we lived in a lake. My mother cut the wind for breakfast, I didn't know my father because he died of liver cancer when he died in a tragic car accident, after self-immolating on his uncle Eugene's name day. Uncle Eugene was taken away by the NKVD in 59, no one complained.
  12. I get the feeling it's not about higher requirements and new FPS-hungry eye-candies. There's something in the code, those things has happened before already.
  13. Same here. 10-15 fps loss. No VR. Normaly locked by riva on 60. I was very happy with that 60 fps.
  14. You know that's not always the case (msfs owners could tell you something about that), but you'd still choose to play party clown's role, my good mate.
  15. What's even sadder, that this kind of unhealthy attachment and unhealthy mindset you show regarding business relation is still a thing in gaming industry. There's clearly something wrong with map, and we all want it to be playable. For me, it's unplayable in it's current state. And too bad, because it's perfect for my taste as air warfare theatre. 30 fps is for me barely acceptable in MSFS, very barely. In DCS steady 50 is bare minimum. 60 is enough (i lock framerate on 60 with riva) and possible, as some other maps shows (not to mention it's tiny island surrounded by empty water). Yes. They made free map, and that's really, i mean really great, (especially that lots of us put tons of money in DCS, that's on margin, and this kind of gesture is always warmly welcomed). If i were you, i would just come more from client/customer position than from petitioner posiotion. It's more than fair for both sides that way. And i say this as a very, very satisfied and very greatful for making my dreams come true customer since like 2005 at least. Whole thing reminds me this "I buy to support the devs" tendency. Well, they'll be fine, they are world's top notch professionals and specialists in my opinion, not some poor children, they don't need your support (At least not physical one. "Thank you" and "Go, ED" is different thing) They do great stuff to get money to do more great stuff.
