  1. Milli, Just a quick heads up, I have noticed with more testing that the center Window and Tacan/ILS panel windows are also tinted with this file. On closer inspection of the .DDS file, I have noticed it is completely different than the original version you posted earlier in post #14. Could you have a look at them please as this second version is spot on (tint/color wise) when your free. Thanks JJM
  2. Even better. Spot on for my liking. Thank you very much.
  3. Mustang, I have been an avid follower of the COLD HDR setting since the start, but, this makes it even more enjoyable. No problems here, the sun is just the right intensity and the rays are a welcome bonus. Thanks for your efforts. I endorse this Mod. Lol:thumbup:
  4. What Steerpoint mode are you in? CDU panel right console.......Flight Plan / Mark or Mission position? Flight Plan will point towards a Waypoint/Steerpoint e.g your loaded Flight Plan MARK will point to a Mark point that you have created e.g TAD/HUD Mission will point to a Mission Waypoint you have created e.g JTAC..
  5. Did you make your new target in the TGP your new SPI ? It might still be looking at your previous SPI.. Make the TGP target under the crosshairs your SPI by pressing TMS UP long... Just a thought.
  6. Thanks for this thread guys, Works great. No more target kill messages or takeoff/landing messages on my server now. Tested in game with a few pilots and the result was fantastic. However I did notice that after I commented out the local script/net/event.lua on-kill lines that I had lost text in the MP options that allow you to specify connection speed. The drop down box was completely empty of the usual connection speed options...256...512...1024...LAN etc..
  7. The CBU's are set to "0" (zero) in the Airfield Resource Manager in ME. In mission when played, CBU's are not available, great. However, AGM 65's (D,G,H,K) are also unavailable even though the AGM missles are still at the default 100 in the Resource Manager. Im scratching my head still.
  8. Hi All, Basically, I am trying to to set the CBU munitions to unavailable if a MP client tries to re-arm with them. I have set the separate CBU munitions to 0 in the quantity field in the Airbase resources panel but when tested in game for some strange reason AGM missiles are also limited even though these are still showing as 100 in the editor. Any ideas on how you guys forbid CBU munitions from being selected/used in missions? Thanks in advance
  9. From PerterP's thread... http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1373707&postcount=1 This is an instruction how to run the GUI in DCS:World always windowed while the Sim starts fullscreen: This is how it's done: Navigate to ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\MissionEditor and open the MissionEditor.lua with a proper editor (Notepad++) Make a backup of this file before you change it!!!!!! Than go to line #195 and change it from this: Quote: return width, height, fullscreen to this: Quote: return 1024, 768, false 1024x768 is an example - You can put in your wished resolution for the windowed GUI. Just make sure your height is smaller as your over all res e.g. for a screen that is 1080 in height use 1020 - so the Launcher will be windowed . (subtract always at least the height of the top bar of the window from your overall available height.) Now every-time you start DCS-World the GUI will be windowed in the resolution you have set. But the Simulation will start as set in the options-menu .
  10. Thanks Headspace Managed to jump online to test. Yep, as ever, it works as intended. Just a quick question though for clarity, What is the recommended order of startup on TARS control Panel, Teamspeak3 and DCS ? Is there a set order in which the applications should be started to avoid any hic-cups.. Just curious.
  11. Useful for the PhD graduates studying rocket ballistics I suppose.... Nothing else... ;)
  12. Is TARS working with the latest DCS World update released today - v.1.2.3.10201 ? Thanks.
  13. Its a good debate. I am used to flying online without External View and F10 view is enforced to "Map Only". I fly with online pilots who look out for targets, BDA on team-mates targets and together we collate as much SA as we can as a Group for mission objective completion. We rely heavily on TeamSpeak3 and TARS for comms and sharing of information. As for zoom, everybody can have access to it as it cannot be enforced in the mission. We are used to this system and it works pretty well. I will add, we solely fly the A10-C and my comments are directed towards this module only. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Thats just insane.... I like it !
  15. Update: Everything works in game. Awesome plugin. Just one minor hiccup of my TS3 Push To Talk completely not working with the plugin enabled in TS3. Have to use voice activation. Thanks for all the help fellas, really appreciate it.
  16. Anybody who has the time, patience, intelligence and passion to create skins will always have my complete respect. taproot, that is an excellent skin. Thanks for contributing another great skin for DCS.
  17. Thanks again for time to answer my questions . Off to experiment.
  18. Many thanks again Eddie for the answers. What is the significance of using an"guard" channel? I see it is mentioned in the documentation but don't really understand its use. Also, any special radio dial selection required (in cockpit) for the radios to work properly? I have just set my radio AM/FM to TR, both on MAN settings and the UHF is set to MAIN. My buddie can hear me but I cannot hear him in game. Battery power is on and he has set his radio to the same settings as myself. He did mention that in the TARS control panel his DCs version shows as an earlier build instead of the latest Dcs patch that he updated to recently... Scratching our heads on this one.
  19. There is a lot of pages to trawl through but I wonder if someone could tell me the differences in range of the 3 radios at say altitude 15-20k and at lower altitudes (LOS permitting) Quick edit... Regarding TS channels, do we all have to be in the same channel or can pilots be in separate flight/element TS channels for this to work? Thanks
  20. Thanks for the info Eddie, I have mapped the 3 TARS radio commands to my HOTAS, and am trying it out now with a buddy. Fingers crossed
  21. That is great, A picture tells a thousand words..... I will give it a bash and report back.
  22. Thanks for the reply tietze, A few questions.... The default radio default keys in TARS control panel, do these select the Radio you wish to use, AM UHF FM etc? Do use have to press and hold these keys , e.g control+1 or just press once and use your default TS3 PTT button?
  23. Looking forward to trying this out with my Online buddies. I cant seem to find an idiots guide on how to use it though, from installation to actually getting it working in-game. The last time I tried my PTT key did not work in TS3, and found the original FAQ's confusing. If anyoine would like to help answer a few of my questions, I would be very, very grateful.
