After playing with this a bit more in the newer builds of DCS World it seems to work quite well now. No more cutting in and out of ambient occlusion it appears to be working fluently. I am using "performance" setting in Nvidia inspector and i lose about 4-5 fps.
Thanks for the info, I think I might eventually get it since I already have a capable monitor and I can only imagine how it is when mixed with head tracking :)

I bought a 3D monitor a while ago not for 3D but for the 120hz and now I'm wondering if anyone here has used 3D and if they think it is worth getting?
All i need to buy is the Nvidia 3D glasses and IR unit which is about 100 dollars.
