  1. The limit is not with DCS, but with your motherboard. USB ports have a limited bandwidth they can accommodate. I had to add a powered PCI expansion card just for my Rift and sensors, after HOTAS, pedals, headset, and buttkicker.
  2. You will need one mount for the stick, and another for the throttle. As far as the 100mm spacer, it gives you far more precision with the stick. You can make much smaller inputs, smoother, than with the grip connected with no spacer. If you have the stick mounted between your legs, you can get a more natural and comfortable grip with the spacer. At the end of the day, you can unscrew the spacer and run with/without in a matter of seconds. It is worth the buy though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. Same issues. INS will not run at all on CV Align, and Ground Align shows zeros for countdown, but does show elapsed time. I can get airborne and up to around FL15 before nav systems freeze.
  4. Get the virpil desk mount for best compatibility with the stick and throttle. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Speaking for the T50, there are plenty of buttons fot the 18. Far more than the real stick actually. Get the desk mount and the stick extension when you order. I added the 100mm spacer, and it has made a night and day difference for AAR alone. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Just got mine in the mail today. Took all of ten minutes to install (after I had all the tools infront of me). AMAZING UPGRADE! This seriously should have come from the factory. THANK YOU!!!

I can do all other mission types from the same start location, attacking Dubai, without issue. But when I try to setup a Base Attack, it throws this error code, and will not compile the mission. Also, would be awesome if we could have the option of a 130 over the S3, as well as having a JTAC.
  8. I'll be very interested to hear how this turns out. I have the vr cover with all three sized covers and it still causes me discomfort. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  9. I am having the same issues as well. I was able to un-designate the target using the key bound to the stick, but the second I go to enable a different program, the target is designated again, and will not un-designate, no matter what key combo I depress. It jacks up my target tracking so bad, that I was unable to even get a set of sidewinders to home in on some Ka-50's. FWIW I was using Mk-82 Snake-eyes (Auto, Nose fuse, Instant activation, FF) Basically I was able to make two passes on my ground target (still trying to become more proficient with accuracy and these dumb bombs), with the third pass switching targets. I wanted to try out CCIP with two munitons dropping 50' from each other. The second I switched to profile 2, the targeting became all jacked up. Had to land and restart the mission to get targeting back again.
  10. PSA: When using nods, no comms menu can be seen in the upper right corner. Also, cannot get to the escape menu (switch roles, quit mission, options, etc). Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  11. I too am having issues with the tower. I can get ATC to ack me inbound, and clear me visual. But the tower refuses to respond to me at all. I have manually assigned the freqs in the editor, as well as enabled FM on the UFC prior to contact. In the comms menu, all the airfields and carriers on the map are greyed out. However, I am able to contact the tankers without an issue though. If I try to take off from, say Kobelti, I get zero response for permission to take off, until I take the runway. All the sudden, the tower denies the previous requests, and approves take off. Could it be an early access bug? Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  12. Disregard. I was trying to get the assets to assign too many tasks at start. Fixed it with adding in an extra waypoint to assign TACAN to both the carrier and tanker, and it's all working. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  13. So I'm working on a practice mission for both A-A Refueling, and Case 1 recovery. I put down the KC-130 at 15,000', at 320 knots. I also add in to start the TACANBNG 80x, racetrack orbit, and refuel tasking. Add in two waypoints for the orbit, and the tanker has no issues following those guidelines, except the TACAN settings. I do the same for the Stennis (naturally minus the refueling task) with a TACAN of 74x. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to get either to emit a working TACAN that the F-18 will acknowledge and hone in on. I can supply the mission file if necessary. Throughly confused at this point! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Hell, point me to a working mission that I can open in the editor and learn how this stuff is supposed to work!! Thanks in advance.
