  1. I did have this as well with my FFB2. The force moves it to the right. So the behaviour of the aircraft fits the stick position. It is a bug in the force feedback. But it does not happen all the time. Normally I have the problem only after switching on the AP. It seems to be there even with AP, and every time after switching it off.
  2. When at night time, the extrem bright clouds are disturbing immersion a lot IMHO. You take off in the dark, entering the clouds it looks like you are back at day light, and climbing above the clouds the night sky is black again, but the clouds are lighted from above. They are as bright as on daylight.
  3. You shouldn't need aileron. You can avoid that mentioned problem (too much rudder when tail lifts, which leeds to a sudden yaw to the right and conclusively left wing down) by not using tailwheel lock. You have to be a bit more concentrated at the beginning of T/O roll, but you avoid that mentioned problem.
  4. Heinz did die some years ago (aged in the 80s). They stayed friends. The whole JG51 did meet as well every year, but in the meantime only very few are alive. Quax
  5. A german style stick (like MMaister´s) with brushless FFB, and i am in for any price ! You should feel ground bumps on the stick, as the elevator is moved by inertia (tail dragger). You are right about gun fire and engine vibs. BTW, there is a sim, where it is modelled exactly like this ;)
  6. i really like the friction and dampening effect, but without the original trim function I can't use it. Perhaps i missed something, but i guess it works instead of the original FFB function and the trim can't be used.
  7. Flanker 1.0 was a thrilling experience. I still remember the first mission, where you flew along the costline for 10 minutes at 10 m height, then the jump over the hill, where the hell broke loose. You had only seconds to escape back over this hill - within that time you had to strike three radar stations ... good old times :)
  8. i had to interrupt the automatic update. Then i had to reinstall World - perhaps this caused the trouble.
  9. But i did this already and it worked with 1.2.3
  10. The modulemanager shows only BS2 (BUY) and BS2 update (INSTALL). When I click install, it says I need to activate BS first. But there is no BS in the modulemanager :( How can i enter my BS serial number ? Would be kind of stupid, if i had to install BS from scratch, just to activate the BS2 update ??? BTW, BS2 module did already work with 1.2.3 !! So i did all the install already. It can´t be true, that i have to reinstall this senseless BS1 after every update ???????
  11. Your script works and it is very easy to use now. So first thanks very much for your effort Peter ! I can fly BS again (...after 2 years break due to that damn rudder trim) - with FFB stick (and rudder pedals) it really feels realistic now. Nevertheless I still think, the devs should create the option to "unchain the rudder from trim" one day.
  12. I guess you never flew a heli and don´t know, what you are talking about  In the real Ka-50 the trim does not affect the deflection of the rudder pedals. It only reduces the force on them. As we don´t have any force on our sim-pedals the way DCS is doing the rudder trim is B....sh.t.
  13. When I press ESC I can´t push any buttons. The mouse just don´t work on them. So the only way to get out is ctrl+alt+del. Anything i might correct, or does everyone have this prop ?
  14. Hi Peter, i can´t do your mod, but would like to extend my FFB2. Can you please give me some advise ? How can i remove the handgrip without tearing off the wires etc. ?
  15. @ PeterP Thanks, i´ll give that a try. @Smil Can you explain, what the benefit of that rudder trim is, if you don´t have any significant force on the rudder pedals ? Don´t get me wrong: the trim for the FFB Stick is perfect. It´s just the rudder what spoils it. You are right, it is a computer sim. But why not make it as real as possible ? In the real heli you never have the rudder centered. No matter what type.
  16. You got the problem exactly right: They should have treated it as a bug from the beginning. In the real Ka50 the trim does not work like that. If it would, all had crashed in the meantime. The trim only reduces the force on the rudder pedals - but we dont have force on our computer rudder pedals. To center rudder pedals with the trim button on the stick is ridiculous. It would have been a programming work of 5 minutes for the devs to install the option to exclude the rudder from the trim function. PS: i have simped pedals and cant use your workaround.
  17. Before I purchase this update I would like to know, wether I can fly it. I had to delete BS from my disc, because I couldnt center my rudder. As it was not possible to exclude the rudder from the trim function, the rudder had maximum deflection after 2-3 trim clicks. Does anyone know, wether this has been adressed in BS2 ?
  18. But I couldn´t use my rudder pedals. Thanks for trying to help anyway. But I don´t believe in a solution for non centering pedals anymore and deleted BS from the drive. After flying Lockon for more than 10 years that is a bit disappointing.
  19. What brings us back to the topic: How can I disconnect the rudder from the trim (as there is no need to get rid of force on the pedals, that isn´t there) ?
  20. You don´t know the reason, but tell me I don´t know nothing about it ????? PS: i didn´t complain about the reset function. you got that wrong.
  21. you are right - reset is nonsense ! (...and why is it implemented ?)
  22. ...and this is what the readme says: HelicopterTrimmerTauInverse = 7.0 - time factor for the period given the player to re-center his controls when using the original trimmer implementation. Is it possible, they just don´t understand the problem ???? We don´t need a time factor, when the rudder trim is switched off and the FFB stick doesn´t need any centering either. The beta testers did want the unrealistic trim reset function, because they messed up with the rudder trim too often. Instead it would have been much more realistic to substitute the reset with the OFF function. I will not waste more time with that, and be back when the A10 is out.
  23. I did try several numbers. It just doesn´t work :-((
