your joystick could be sending spikes so hopefully this will rule out your joystick
Might not be the issue but are you in the f18c sim mode and not game mode option

because you havnt assigned a target and master arm not on, also you havnt said if your using too or pp mode. trk file would be a great help. also if you unselect jsow and when you select jsow again time will restart again

1 yes they still will show up
2 nope they will still remain in the config file untill ed updates might break them so its a good idea to make a back up copy of your config input folder

It is a current DCS bug. Any helo with a speed less than about 115 knots cannot be picked up by the F18 radar quote from @Badger633 from author of the rise of the persian lion campaign
