To make it clear fist, this link looks wrong, but since you find your mod in Customized Cockpit menu, I think you double pasted here, right?

    Second;

File names and the names in the lua exactly match, right? For example, again the filename looks like "f16c-cpt-instr03.dds" but it's "f16c-cpt-instr-03.dds" in lua.

  2. You know that this is not first that we encounter two-position (non-momentary) switches in this module. There're a lot of these type switches in other modules too, but there're somehow suitable command lines and users can assign those in-game switches to their HOTAS properly.

And that's why I say that the developers should create more command lines that will suit for other HOTAS types.

This is a bug for me, but it's not for you apparently. 🙂

For example, ED is doing it and says "Special for Joystick" for the category. We see more and more command lines for the one action. So, user can chose the proper one and assign the action for his/her HOTAS with right way.

Addition: Even if I assign that function (Release Mode Valb) on a keyboard key, when I release the keyboard key, switch goes down. So, I can't assign those switch for the kayboard either.

So, as a home-cockpit lover, is the only way left for me switching it by mouse?... Come on... 🙂

  3. In input controllers page:

    RB/BK Release Mode Valb/Preb
    and
    Release Mode Fallsattomkopplare Up/Down
These are two switches on the weapon panel.

Please guys (hey H.B.!) tell me, how am I supposed to assign these switches for my joystick? There's only one line for that switch.

I'll try to tell very simple: I have Saitek X-55 and it has momentary switches. I push forward the switch on my HOTAS, "Release Mode Valb/Preb switch" (in game) moves up. And then I release the switch on my HOTAS (it comes back to center), in-game switch falls down to other mode.

This is like this for years. Do I have to buy a new HOTAS that has two stage switches on it, like Trustmaster or something?

How do you guys assign those switches for your joysticks or am I missing something for those years?

    Thx.

    Really annoying part:
Developers should | 'd better have to think the variety of HOTAS existing in the market and they have to prepare cockpit commands to suit all HOTAS types. Do we have to buy what developer is using?

Changelog: An insignificant update from H.B.

Checked: The mod still works with the latest version of DCS.

Integrity Check - OK - I guess. One user has reported I.C. fail but I've tested this mod in two different servers (with protection ON) and I've seen no I.C. fail even if DCS reports one file is against I.C. (via clicking on red badge in the M.P. lobby). The mod looks like working. PLEASE FEEDBACK.

  5. You install this (cockpit) mod into Saved Games/DCS folder. It appears in Customize Cockpit menu and you select it and fly.

But, EN HUD mod is nothing to do with Customize Cockpit menu. You directly install it into Program Files/DCS folder and fly. That's why I recommend you to use the OvGME app for this kind mods to install/uninstall easily.

So, you can use both mods at the same time. 🙂
