I have come across an old thread that says that guys cant lock the diamond to the ground. Various fixes were offered. eg. switching from A to G and back again. No matter what I try I cant get it to ground stabilise. PAL, target designate is set. I am operating both stations and also have tried with a buddy as pilot. Can anyone point me to a sequence that works for them (maybe im looking at old vids?). Thank you.

More info, voice attack doesn’t play well with Bluetooth.

13700k @ 5.2. 4090 ,64gb. Crystal. dlaa very good anti shimmer. No upscaling. Stayed with it. Peripheral Quadviews not below 10%. 72hz option very good stops microstutters. Hyper threading on. Changed to balanced for Pimax play settings. Might try upping the last due to 72hz?. Was mostly 90fps on 90hz except on ground partic f16 or with apache. Pre rendered frames reverted to 1.

If this is useful to anyone, a free app called, FXsound from Microsoft store. A simple way of adjusting the sound of your audio to your liking. Wil work with headphones or earbuds. I’ve used it primarily to improve the low bass in dcs

Should I buy the DMAS upgrade or good earbuds? Im thinking of earbuds- more immersion? can adjust bass etc etc via an app on the phone. DMAS attracting variable reviews. cant adjust sound? but is an all in one solution. Thank you.

My experience——- Yes, image great, dfr fantastic. Wonderful to fly in dcs. ( had a g2 which was good). Software good. Set up no problems. Need apache strap( I believe pimax are going to change the head strap). I need thicker face foam due to px lenses. Audio ok but dmas recommended. yes battery a pain in the a***. Make sure they are fully discharged a couple of times in early use. With a power hub mine seem to be lasting much better now than in the beginning. Stiffness of battery mechanism eases with time. So I was prepared to fiddle when I purchased so I’m not surprised by my experience. It must be said that more testing and thought at pimax would make the whole thing much better.

Hi, As not unknown the usb hub supplied with my crystal doesnt seem to output charge to the headset at all resulting in short battery life in headset. So I have tried a samsung charger which does register at approx 0.17ma , I also have tried (at the mo) another usb hub at over 5v, this still gives approx the same output as the phone charger. Question - is this enough charge to keep the headset battery up a reasonable time? What numbers should i be looking at? Thank you 13700k 4090 64gb

I’ve seen this a couple of times, of running at a reduced res in open XR. What is the benefit when you can reduce pixels (or increase) in the Quadviews companion? Eg 75%. ?

Yes, I noticed in a vid on the eye calibration that you had to press... A/X or B/Y to continue or retry. how do you get around that?. I have ordered one.
