It's hard to do anything but guess with so little info, but I'll give it a try... Are you sure you purchased CA with the same DCS store login name that you purchased your other modules with?
-
You can make a custom label file consisting of a single black dot, set the range you want it to be visible, and turn on labels. DCS World\Config\View\Labels.lua
-
Just shooting from the hip here, but could it be in the registry? When you re-installed did you move the location or change the Windows user? Did you deactivate them all when you removed the old?
-
The ability to just load a file was broken a few versions ago. You have to save one in the ME and edit it. If I'm not mistaken the same time the file load ability broke, they changed the format of the file a bit so old templates don't work.
-
This... m23 door gun mount slick.
-
Just a guess here... Ed changed the name of a ground vehicle in the last patch. If that vehicle is in a template maybe that's why it wont load.
-
But if you keep the door guns you need an external mount like an M23. I think in a true slick they would just fire un-mounted guns from that seat or do a field mod suspending a gun from rope or bungee cord.
-
Is it still a slick if you put an M23 mount for the gun?
-
No your friend doesn't need the file before you fly. Sound files that are added to the mission in the mission editor are embedded into the mission file when you save it. All that data is transferred to each client when the connect and the mission loads for them. Just remember the more data you add, the bigger the mission file becomes, making the load time longer.

WIP DCS A-10C and Teamspeak 3 Integration

Negative. When you open the TARS control panel you can set those 3 freq's to what you want... Tell the frogs to set Uniform 226, the Flankers 227 and the Fulcrum 228. As long as they all still have 1 channel in common, like Guard then each group can still communicate with each other but also have discrete channels for each flight. With 3 radios, each configurable before the mission, there is a lot of versatility. -
Yes. Chaff and Flares don't prevent an enemy from launching a weapon, but they have a chance to prevent the weapon from tracking on your aircraft. They just tweaked chaff in a recent patch because it was more effective than they wanted.
-
I suspect if they thought that door was open to them at the time they would have done it that way to begin with. I'm assuming the revenue from FC3 helped fund the work that made it possible to now sell FC3 aircraft separately.

See ^ It's only 2 WEEKS from release!

So they didn't stuff a Kopyo in the nose after all. The UBM in this pic has one belly mounted. http://www.ruaviation.com/news/2011/4/19/261/ Looks like they went with a pod due to cost. Nice. Have they done more than the initial 6?

Just to clarify... The SM is a modern upgrade program that does not use the T version airframe. They take the original SU-25 airframe, with the flat back, and modernize it. While lessons learned in the T - TM program and some systems are in both upgrade branches, they are separate upgrades. The Su-25T has a hump back like the 2 seat version original. There were only a few made because it was a mid-upgrade designation. What was added to the airframes in the T upgrade became the TM also designated SU-39. There were additional upgrades that differentiate the T designation from the TM/39, while some of the airframes are the same. As far as I know this branch of the tree has never been exported although 1 export demo was built. The KM was a Georgian attempt to modernize a handful of airframes left behind from the USSR days. I don't know that any were even completed. The original (flat back) airframe is all over the world now and the addon systems that get stuffed in them are as different as the nations that fly them, but underneath they are based on the Su-25 single seat with a K designation or 2 seat UBK for those sold as exports. Some former USSR nations still have non-export versions of which some have had there own upgrade paths. A handful of brand new airframes have been built in Siberia of the 2 seat U branch. They all have a little bear painted on the tail. It's one of those aircraft that's been around long enough in large enough numbers that the history becomes complex. Which speaks to what a good aircraft it is.

It is BETA only at the moment. We don't have any idea when the final release will be You should look at the Huey section for more info. I own it. I fly it. I love it, but that's just me.

Activating any auto pilot system @ 50' is not a good idea...

There are some old threads around here that cover the reasons for LOMAC. New maps are in the pipeline but they have to be released before we can build missions on them. The AH-64D, I'm not so sure about, unless some team is out there building it in secret.
-
Don't think of it as a more accurate dumb bomb. The 105 kit makes it a guided weapon. So speed, altitude, and/or weather conditions can be compensated for. Within reason of course.
-
My point was not that the P-51's stall characteristics improve so much as the other aircraft in the original comparison get much worse. The F6F and FG-1 can barely make 35k. ...but I agree there are many variables in the mix.

The results are not a surprise at those altitudes. The D model P-51 was a high altitude fighter. The A model would have shown better below 10k. If they attempted the same test at say 35K the comparisons would be very different.
