Some points.. I´m not really sure if this deal are to good to Brazil.. The GripenNG prototype still being mounted at SAAB plant in Sweden. If the project are ready and prototype in construction, WTF major part of project EMBRAER, AKAER and others brazilians bureau will be participate ?! Much criticism of Dassault Rafale in Brazil was the lack of production scale.. With the GripenNG will be much worst.. 36 aircraft up to 72 here and a minor number in Sweden.. It´s beautiful at political vision open a production line here or better two.. One in EMBRAER São José dos Campos or Gavião Peixoto and another in São Bernardo do Campo who don´t have a simple airfield and don´t have space do make one. But in practical e financial vision it´s very strange and a european vision who have to answer a large number of political interests. I have some sources into Brazilian Air Force.. The GripenNG for money issues will be use the actual Rockwin Collins avionics and AEL will be a minor contract to some mission systems. Another strange thing it´s the rush from Brazilian Air Force Commander to close the deal before the end of this year.. He´s afraid if the actual administration don´t win the Presidential race at end of this year, the new one cancel the acquisition. I really hope this deal will be cancelled and another aircraft with a production line and parts will be opened for decades.. Nothing agains the GripenNG project it´s only seeks the best of my country.

A R22/R44 are great... But a Bell 206 and a OH58D are greater!

I will like to fly any aircraft from any procedence with condition of a high level simulation... Even civilian aircraft... Land a C-17 at a dirt airstrip isn´t a big deal to this aircraft made to this purpose... But will be a big challenge land a Boeing 737 or 727 at this conditions, like this..

Why the Hip ?? I don´t know.. But i´m a helicopter lover and any i will buy any hi fidelity model.. It´s harder go to modern combat with the old Huey and Hip ? Sure it ´s.. But this is DCS! Adapt your combat tactics to the aircraft..

This is a bigger Rafale issue.. Most of others products has the same or better quality at much lower costs..

For the allies are a good 4G aircraft, like a big F16, make things now who F/A-18A, F15E and F16C does at least 20 years.. I always remember General Alain Silvy, declarations... It´s a great aircraft, but don´t at same level of american aircraft. The large number of Rafale´s HUD vids for me parts of principle of Dassault necessity to sell this aircraft.. We sad many Rafale´s HUD vids, but the opposite isn´t true... Are Rafale a true invencible aircraft ? Of course not!

Will be a great escort for helicopters and the Super Toucan, doesn´t have too much classified specs if have one! I don´t remember one case of EMBRAER forbidden one of this planes to be reproduced into simulator. Exists dozen of EMBRAER projects into several simulator since ST at FSX, AMX at X-Plane and all comercial line for FSX.

I´m not sure if will be USAF or AAF... The reasons, to use this type of aircraft into a modern war are very simple. The Super Tucano are a joint development of EMBRAER and Brazilian Air Force to a light, cheap, simple and easy to maintain but still using advanced avionics and weapons. To use in assimetryc conflicts like the Afhegan, Lybia, Mali, Iraq, Iemen, South America and anothers with low intensity and low technology enemy they are equally effective than a F16 or Rafale, by a fraction of cost. I had seen pictures of Mirages F1 at Mali conflict with two Mk82.. The Super Tucano can fly the same mission expeding much less money. Some questions.. That Super Tucano leased to Blackwater stills in US ? The Imminet Fury program has died ? Super Tucano don´t have classified avionics or specs..
