Предлагает уменьшит чувствительность триммера при возврате РППУ в центр. По умолчению, при триммировании игра считает РППУ в центре при +-5% от центра джойстика, автор внизу поста предлагает поменят настройки так, что игра будет принимать центр РППУ (и возвращать управление вертолётом), когда джой будет +-50% (т.е. пол хода) от центра.

Ok, good news everyone! Firstly, an exhibition is going to be in the Netherlands this weekend! There you can see (and try!) Defender Cobra M5 joystick, King-Cobra from VKB joystick, throttle (Gametrix ECS) and rubbers also from VKB! For more details visit http://www.fsweekend.com/. Secondly. VKB announced that starting from next week one can leave a request for the K-C joystick. (Bad news is as far as i understood it'll be available only for ex-USSR residents). But the joystick itself is produced in China, so i guess it's not a big deal to manage an import to the US! Stay tuned for more!

Darn good question! I'm from Ukraine and i can't buy it here. It looks like the only place so far you can get it is Moscow. I would suggest you to try to write to defender's support (http://www.eng.defender-global.com/support/hotline/). Probably they'll answer with more details about possibility to get joystick in US:(

It's not, but pretty close though. Besides the real stick is changing with modernization of su-27 (for example on su-35 stick has more buttons than on su-27). This stick is the result of virpil discussion on one of the russian thread on sukhoi forum. Personally i would rather prefer f-16 replicka stick rather than the one they have now(imho). I've asked guys in russian forum if it's possible. They answered that so far they are busy with the King-Cobra so far but in future it might be possible to see a cougar (or warthog) style stick on KC. The issue is how many people are going to buy it. Another alternative is a possibility to plug in handler from cougar (or warthog). According to vkb guys it's not a big deal. So let's be patient. Not much time left...

Sorry PeterP, didn't mean to piss you off! I've post a request to put updates about King-Cobra here. UIV (the guy from VKB) said it's possible. He is pretty busy though, so i don't know when it'll happen... So far - i'll try to keep you, guys, here up to date. (Can not wait to get this joystick!:joystick:)

According to VKB guys, the production of the joystick will start this week. About logistics - question is still in work-out. Approximate price (very approximate - 5000-7000 Rub, 160-220USd, without delivery of course). AS soon as there will be more concrete information, I'll post it in this forum. Anything else?

There is no need to be "in a good contact" with developers of the King -Cobra (it's VKB team, by the way). You may ask theme your questions on the forum http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=72100&page=7. But you need to do it on Russian :).

Unfortunately in the nearest future VKB won't do FFB joystick.:(

No, it's not yet. About buying it outside - i think it's better to ask VKB guys.

No. Not this one. Maybe later VKB will do FFB stick, but King-Cobra is being done without FFB. On russian forum people were asking about FFB and one of the reason VKB didn't develop FFB joysticks is patent's payment for using FFB.
