  1. Yep gonna wait to find out.
  2. I totally get what you mean and thought the same but take a look at the Facebook poll, It's not just people on this forum that want high fed if it was then Facebook would show something different but it does not. I think DCS should allow users to vote for both then we might see something different.
  3. Ok buddy, Thanks for the heads-up I like the other stuff in the manual as it can be useful i'll look in to the dash-10 to see if that's a better choice. Got a feeling that if we take away the fact all the engine procedures are for the twin engline huey that a'lot of the other stuff should be ok for the hu-1h
  4. Very true mate, But if you look at it you'll find it covers a'lot more general stuff than that small part I pulled. Have a peek and see what you think if you can find one covering the UH-1H that would be even better but this is the best I've seen so far.
  5. Download Looks really good has so much information go's threw everything. BREIFING GUIDE NORMAL PROCEDURES WEAPONS PROCEDURES ENGINE WASH SPECIAL/ SHIPBOARD PROCEDURES REFERENCE DATA PERFORMANCE DATA Information on engine failures looks to be as Sundowner stated for the twin-engine Twin-Huey please keep this in mind while covering that information tho it looks to be a small part of the check list.
  6. I read somewhere that the way the Huey is designed makes it hard to get it into the VRS and is not really a issue for it in real life. I'll need to search all over and find that might not be correct but was from a very detailed document. Also a'lot of people around here seem to think that if you're moving forward you can't enter into the VRS this is untrue any speed under 40 knots its possible. VRS Heli moving forward. 7. AI Fly's using a Simple Flight Model as It could not handle the Advanced so the AI can do a'lot of things the player can't without being affected just thought I would clear this up. So it's not that the AI can fly any better than you it's that it's unaffected by most things you are.
  8. BBC News http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-22668150 Wonder how many passengers embarked on that flight over the years.
  9. Fair comment buddy, I see what you mean about uniting the community's and giving them a break as there having the same issues other Flight Sims are fighting never thought of it that way, I don't mind FSX. I bought it not that long ago matter of fact. I can see why hardcore fans would put it down but they both fill different markets until VRS I guess.
  10. I had the same am using older drivers to see you're cards not that different.
  11. Is the KA-50 now just sitting around collecting dust on Russian airbases not even inside a hangar so sad to see.
  12. Well take a look at Facebook then. True 159th_Viper, I cant edit it in either mate. Np guys.
  13. Concur also.
  14. Here's what am using at the moment feel free to try them out and see what you think still work in progress tho. Huey TrackIR Pro Clip Profile Below is the same Profile with alittle more centre dead zone if you like that. Huey TrackIR Pro Clip Profile (More Centre Dead-Zone) Huey X52 Pro - Profile Download Let me know what you think and any better way to set it up.
  15. Image taken from cockpit. Image taken from old Camera phone.
  16. Just find it easier myself, Probley not mastered the best way to do it tho Always learning.
  17. Piracy hope the mod's put any discussion on that in a taboo for posting rules as think we have heard it all for and against and some really don't care either way.
  18. Am the same as above don't really use zoom as it don't work well with TrackIR was disappointed at first but you can pause TrackIR then use you're POV and normal in-game Zoom.
  19. Another thing I noticed when going back to the KA-50 from the Huey is that in the KA-50 it's harder to see around you no looking behind at all. The KA-50 is meant to be an attack helicopter and very manoeuvrable but to me it feels like a brick even with hardly any fuel and no weapons then you jump in the Huey and that to me feels the way the shark should even with AP channels off the KA-50 feels like a brick. Don't get me wrong I still love the KA-50, it's deadly but as it's not being updated or anything for awhile. I find myself spending all my time in the Huey and get so much more enjoyment out of the Huey end up feeling yeah this is the way it's meant to be. :pilotfly:
  20. This is what i do Line up at 150 ft, 300 yards from runway speed 80 knots once at 100 yards pull up hard while decreasing collective to slow speed, Once at 10/20 knots and shaking while you're attitude is dropping heavy as you're entering near hover. Up collective until level flight (this has to be done very fast or you will enter VRS.) If you miss and end up in VRS, as you are travelling forward slowly all you need to do is roll. After that you will be over the runway and in ground affect at 10 ft above runway travelling at 10 knots or less then you will just slowly lower collective while pulling back slighting and losing attitude at 2m/s and flare and land. The even easier way to land is just skid land this can be done at 120 knots and that's no joke as long as you don't land to hard on the skids and are lined up right it will skid land then once collective is down pull back to slow you're self down while on ground.
  21. Thank you dear sir, You're comments have been noted and taking on-board. :megalol: No really thanks buddy. Anyone else want to help on this?
  22. Damn gotta change my pants got to excited after reading the topic. :helpsmilie:
  23. We should have a TS meet up and bash out what we can do to get the KA-50 bugs resolved and more support from the Dev's, I would also be up for a night out in the KA-50 with others maybe a show of force on a public server let other know the BS is still alive and well. :pilotfly: At the moment, Am spending more and more time in the Huey as you know it's in Beta so it will get more content and bugs fixed.
  24. I don't fly the A-10 but I do fly another two high fed DCS Sims. Buying the X52 Pro, HOTAS was one of the best things I did as no more do you need to take you're self out of the Sim and fumble around on a keyboard pressing two or three key combo's while in the heat of battle that really takes you out of the immersion no matter what anyone says. Another plus point is there more accurate when sensing movements so it helps you get them small important movements right this comes into it's own when flying a helicopter or landing a fixed wing. TrackIR5 on the other hand was a let down for me, I got both my HOTAS and IR on the same day TrackIR works great but for all it does and the limited number of games you can use it in the price is ridiculous. I would advise if you don't have the money just use free-track or some open source software. You're correct when you say you don't need all this stuff to play but once you get into Flight Simulations and am talking about DCS type Simulations then you're going to want to spend that extra money to get the most out of the experience.
