  1. v1.5.3 USAF Aggressor Yak-40 In Georgia Skin - this Yak needs a new skin for the Aggressors. It is confusing when both sides are flying the same looking aircraft. WC PS, thanks for this aircraft and the USAF Aggressors, I appreciate all the new features and improvements!
  2. The attached mission has Blue and Red AI a/c and helicopters that spawn when their previous group is damaged or destroyed. It is not re-spawning per se, but instead uses the regular event capability of the mission editor. WC

  4. AI a/c are sooo hard to kill on the ground. A damaged a/c will hold up all other taxiing traffic and make a mess of mission plans. They sit there half blown away and laugh in my face while I pour all kinds of munitions into them. WC
  5. Update the video driver? Try different settings for Options Systems -> Preload Radius or other video settings. Hope that helps... WC
  6. I play lots of CA, too. Red T-90s attacking Blue M1-A2s at Vaziani Airbase shoot through the hardened aircraft bunkers -- the rounds go right through the bunkers and out the other side on the same trajectory. WC

  8. Keith Ferris, aviation artist, has some nice stuff. I have his Energy Game on my wall. Matthew Waki does nice work, too, of F-15s - Bird Of Prey, Vigilant Eagles. WC
  9. You can change the mission start time and date on the Briefing window. The Yak-40 a/c are available from Ukraine and Georgia. There are some IL cargo a/c that could be added for variety. Yep, they all get stuck if a leading a/c runs into a snag, including if some Player/Client decides to strafe the Yaks on the taxiway. For this I will sometimes start my AI a/c in the air. There are three ways to delay the AI a/c. One is to set the start time of the a/c group for its zero waypoint - it will appear at that time and go on its flight path and/or start engines and taxi to takeoff. Second is to check the Late Activation checkbox and use an event to trigger the Group Activation based upon a desired Time More or other condition, again, it will appear and go. Third you can set the a/c in a parking spot and check the Uncontrolled box and add a Triggered Action for the group of Perform Command -> Start, and trigger this Start with an event of Action AI Task Push, this option will have the a/c visible until you send the Start command. Oh, there is a fourth... put a plane in a parking slot and park a vehicle in front of it. If the plane has a route then its engines will start. Move the vehicle when you want to and the plane will then proceed. WC

  12. I just noticed that the HAWK Missile units now include the full set, bringing in the CWAR radar and PCP control van. Back in the day when I was a HAWK Hi-PWR radar guy, a battery was six launchers split into two platoons each with a Hi-PWR tracking radar (the one with the Mickey Mouse ears). The battery had one CWAR ranging radar, one PWAR pulse-width acquisition radar and one battery control van. Now we have all these units available. Woot. WC
  13. v1.5.3.52724 Multiplayer helicopter client slots have an empty field for Task, when the group task is Ground Attack. Witnessed with UH-1H and SA342M. WC
  14. What is your goal? Do you want to rearm the plane? Use LAlt-' with the canopy open. If you want continuous ammo you could set the Mission Option for Unlimited Munitions. You can also load training rounds that come with tracers. Hi SH, yep, he has to Load after a reload. I choose Load DSMS instead of Load All in that case. WC
  15. Happened again, ~2050 MDT May 19, the Hollo Pointe server had been running 24+ hours and was not on the MP servers list, but the server was still running the mission. Exited DCS and start a New Server and it is back on the MP servers list. Next time I'll attach the server logs... WC

  18. It really means that the ammo is *Depleted*. I have not seen the vehicle get a reload after this message. Maybe, just maybe, if you drove over to a M818 cargo truck or back to a base then the reload may start. WC
  19. 12-May-2016 v1.5.3.52476 FYI The Multiplayer server list is showing just 63 servers and my Hollo Pointe server was not listed. My server had been running a mission that was almost 24 hours elapsed time and it was in the MP server list yesterday. OTOH, when I exit DCS on Hollo Pointe after serving, I'm am no longer getting the DCS Stopped Working message. Yea. WC
  20. A server can also employ integrity checking, and can run a Ban program such as Slmod. PM me if you have more questions about a particular server - maybe I know who runs it. Are you able to join a mission on the server for a few seconds?

  22. As far as I understand, Yes. But it takes so bloomin' long for the bigger units to rearm it's like the truck driver could have driven back to base, loaded up, spent the night in town, and returned the next day before the rearm actually happens. WC
  23. 30 FPS is OK on an older 30" monitor at 1920 x 1080 on a GTX 680. On my 48" 4K JS9000, 30 FPS is much too choppy to play. I can really tell the difference since I got both GTX 980Tis working in SLI -- set to 60 Hz @ 3840 x 2160 and a steady 60 FPS. WC
  24. Oh, another option -- add a Combined Arms Tactical Commander slot to your mission to allow manual control of vehicle groups. WC
