Yeah. just found out while doing a test, even in teh Game Folder it wasn'T working, only way it is, it's to create my mod, but droping stuff in the default cockpit from the dropdown menu, in other workds: G:\Games\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\default Dunno if it'll work if i do it in Saved Game, but with defaults for now as well.

Yes sir, it's all available in the special menu, i select it and not the Default one, but in game, it loads the default texture even though i selected my Cockpit in the Special/Hornet menu

Well seems there is something i am not doing right Skatezilla, i am able to select the HUD in the sepcial menu, but the texture doesn't load in game, still loads the defaults. Both my description.lua and my texture are in this folder/location. C:\Users\...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\Cockpit_F-18C\Softer_Tinted_HUD\

Thanks man, it'S way beyound my knowledge, i'Ve been looking all round to find a clue in MOD and CORE MOD to find which lines to put in a description.lua, even opened the cockpit shape in NotePad++. May i ask where the LUA was? Appreciated.

LAst time i tried when i mad eit, didn'T worked if, outside the .zip texture file. The reason why i made the entire .zip. When it comes to cockpit livery, i'm not used to, i most of the time just do lvieries stuff but not for the cockpit.

Yep, you can delete them if you are unhappy with the size, i just didn'T have the time to clean it up cuz i was in a hurry to leave home for work and wanted to share the MOD with the few people asking for it today. But i presume they are happy for now. Take in mind i shared something i'Ve made for myself to help, i didn't do this to share at first. A simple Thank You would have do the thing man. :)

Only thing different i've seen in ME and Rearming menu which i haven't seen before, but was simply because i haven'T really paid attention, so can'T say if it'S new or not, we got Gun Ammo type selectable for default and no tracers.

Look my post above, you have 3 Hornet's HUD picture on top, see yourself the difference with the DCS DEfault and judge if it's realistic or not. ;)

I've made a mod for my friends and i real quick to tune down the opacity of the effect and more likely on where both glass overlaps, i just never took time to upload it on DCS.

Did you at least tried to use ripple as the Weapon Store HSI page, as it was not working before for Rockets, and maybe that's where it is now available?

Anyways until we get ILS doing case 3 is pointless if you wnana go by the proper procedures, as part of it is flying the needles around 5nm if i remember, and intercepting glidesope around 3 nm which is way further than the Balls we can guide ourselved with. At least we got last patch the Cross Track Error Indicator.

I personaly when needed, use Speed Brake to get me to 250 kts, avrg speed to drop down gear and flaps, which, by droping, automaticly brings down the speed break, after that it's up to you to properly trim your aircraft to the speed you are flying and throttle rocking to keep on the Rate of descent you want to be or fly level. In other workds my speed breakes once reacing 250 kts, stays in, well until touch down if landing on land based airfield. But if you keep playing witht he speed break once around 150 kts by bringing him up and down, you will indeed have AoA changes as you keep changing the aircrafts dynamic, which at that speed, should remain the same for constant on speed config..... i think.

No issues on my side, i T/O from land with Trim at 12 deg on land and 16 most of the time on carrier, i simply personaly hold the T/O trim button for the simple reason a few commands needs a few seconds sometimes to react with mosue clicking, like the TCN On/Off on the UFC, but just clicking in will adjust as you can see in your FCS page or CHECKLST page with a 12 deg indication. I presume depends how you do your startup, maybe wiping controls etc... can't say, but no issues on my side. As for trim, i simply trim in air once in a while when major speed changes trying to let the bird as level as possible when i don't hold the stick, so most of the time i barely need A/P. But as the previous post said, as soon as you raise gear and flaps, the bird will stop climbing, Flaps in the Hornets does makes the bird getting quite an interesting AoA versos for exemple the Harrier that i use to fly with flaps down for slower conditions.

Dude, if you do add turbulence when AAR, you would create a DCS Bold community, with tons of people tearing all their hairs appart, :joystick: Without turbulenceas for now, lots of people are already struggling for it, even in the Hornet which is, IMO, the easiest to refuel mid-air.

Besides going into the Mission Editor and editing each group and units Names in both designated fields, i dunno how else you can change it.

Yeah the issues seems more triggered when using an AI objet like a carrier or a moving carrier, which sorta alters our positionning, altitude, speed when clicked to the deck... not using Carrier i'm sure my Replays would be fine.

Glad you sort it out. Unless i am mistaken, if you would had been on a different version anyways, it would just not show in the list, and not only being greyed out, as i did a test for someone, loading my OB version and Released version, you can clearly see the list difference and one version having a few of my favorited Servers while the other one only has one left on that version (Released version running latest update and Open Beta running 4th july path). I think greyed out might be something you are running that doesn't comply with their integrity check, dunno. But glad you found. :)

If you manage to make the Hornet stall, you're doing something really bad, even at way low speed it takes a lot to stall. Which is why i presume, you see High Alpha passes being so popular in any almost, Hornet demo teams from around the world. So with flaps fully down, you give it a lot more drag to sustain.

Glad to hear. I'd say if you'Re comfortable with formation flying, with practice you'll end up doing it while holding the stick in one hand, and a beer in the other. :) The Hornet is the easiest aircraft/module in DCS for air refueling in my own opinion. Keep up the good work man. :)
