From what i'Ve seen while making my liveries a few months ago in ModelViewer as i turned the arguments on to look at the pod, the POD seemed to be designed/modeled to be set on a LAU station/pylon, not sure how they are named, but seems in DCS it doesn't spawn/appear, so the POD seems to be floating cuz the thing it should lay on doesn't not appear so it looks like floating around. See screenshot.

  5. Guess i haven'T really tried it since a few months, since i'Ve been fooling around VR games for about 1.5 month at least and not just DCS :) But again the reason of the post is the AGM-65E not the GBU-12 mainly. Thanks for the reply though :)
  6. Cool but the main reason of the post was the advantages of the AGM-65E, but seems turned most as a GBU-12 self-lasing.
  7. JTAC lasing and buddy lasing with GBU-12 was working for quite a long time, but self lasing GBU wasn'T implemented, but does work in 2.5.2 Beta for sure, just tried, not sure in 2.5 since i haven'T tried for a few months.
  8. no problem man, not easy to tracks all the infos, so many places to see them and sometimes they all differ, FB, Email Newsletter, Forums (Either official updates section or each tiers developements etc..) :)
  9. Greetings guys, Stupid question... I see people getting all exited and wet about the AGM-65E, here's my question, what would be the major difference between using the E model vs the G and maybe the K model (DCS wise, cuz in real life one of the factos might as well be the price) Since all 3 has same warheads, G seems to have the same penetrating capacities as the E, E being a tiny less heavy, with the AV-8B able to lock with eitehr the TPOD or without using the DMT makes G and K pretty useful. I can see maybe moving targets benefits from E, since it goes where your laser is going versus other models might be tricky specialy with the DMT? Ok E has a few action less to be taken, no need to uncase, select sensor switch preperly into IRMV... Range is the same... EDIT: Deleted the aprt with GBU-12 so replied focus on the main reason of the post. Unless lasing works with them now also, haven't tried.
  10. Usualy Diveplane11 comes with nice result but i'm suspecting he has way much more things to attend too, loves otehr sound mod i used from him.

    Waypoint SEQ

    Greetings guys, Simple question about the Waypoint SEQ, is it possible yet to get all waypoints link line showing on the HSI, not sure if it ain't available yet or i'm just being too clumsy to find how to make it work?
  12. We are all dreaming about the high pitch engine sound, someone is working on, a few videoes on youtube, but, no news since a while, i think it was Diveplane11.
  13. forgot to mention he'S more likely running no mods at all since he didn'T had time to install them, and i'm running the mission he tried to run. Difference is, i had Open Beta install for quite a while and he installed it 2 days ago, maybe there some options that changed and this is why i have no issues on my side?

We do run the same, if not, he'd not be able to join me when i host the server but simply as that, it's for the PErsian Gulf, so we abosluteny need to be in the same version for now since only one allows it. :) In other words: - Both of us runing Persian Gulf in DCS 2.5.2.17559 Open Beta - Works we he host i n 2.5 Stable release but in Open Beta i can't see him but he sees me. - When i host he's able to join my server no problems but when he host i cannot see his server nor join with direct IP.
  15. Stupid question but, why does he needs to do this so it works on Open Beta and not the release version, he never had issues on Release 2.5 just on the Open Beta? I never did open ports on my side and it works even with my router.

Greetings guys, Since 2 days, since my friend installed Open Beta to try out the Persian Gulf map, i can'T seem to be able to see him in the Server List, all was working fine on normal stable release but in OB i can't, on his side he sees me well. I also tried to join with his IP, but sais Server is Offline. Any clues as what can cause this in Open Beta that we are missing? We tried 2 nights in a row and not working. Thanks!

  20. We didn'T get bad BDA, it was said in these Razbam's psot that the KC-135 won'T still work with the patch cuz they have an issue they are working on. Or was it on Facebook, in any cases we new before the patch was released the KC-135 would still have issues. EDIT: Was on Facebook May 22, found it. Hello Folks! On a funy note: I found out by msitake while trying to have a Hornet AI to refuel to it, while he was refueling in empty space way above the basquet extracted down, i presumed after a few seconds it showed the refueling spot, which is where the basket is when the probe is retracted before pre-contact, as if the refueling spot just doesn'T drop folowing the basket on extracting, all that time looking at the AI i was saying « you damn stupid AI what are you doing » then relaised it was then way interlligent, refueling at the spot the baskquet gives fuel :P Again, AI made me look stupid :)

I'd call this aging and weathering of the material more than scratches, it makes the same effect on your car's paint when it needs polish, do a test next time it's sunny, take a look at your car'S paint with the sun shining on it, you'll see the same effect, looking like spider web being all over the place. You can see with this picture below what i mean. You see it with reflection of sun but look further from the sunshine and it mostly goes away, same with the canopy effect. But you agin you get more the feeling of it in VR than on your screen when you zoom in 10 times.
  24. Good thing is, once we add a few thrust it goes away, but take it the good way, your HUD will always be clean :P

There must be a good reason for it, as when it's close to the Throttle, meaning it's on, it kinda clips into the throttle avoiding it being pushed further, maybe a fast way to know for the pilot it's on or even a safety as, there are 2 other levers close by to the throttle, the STO Stop lever and the Nozzle lever, so lots of manipulation being made there during start-up procedures, before take-off or even taxing, so for the real reason i dunno, but there must be a real good one since it's one of the few aircraft the parking breake is set this way. Could also be the fact that it alows the throttle to being push a bit away to get in idle postion for startup procedure and avoid it being pushed further away if the nozzles aren'T set properly with the Flaps to avoid dmg to the flaps... dunno i am not ingeneer, but again i'm sure they made it for a specific reason.
