Greetings guys, I'm looking for some people to fly with (eastern time) to practice BFM or BVR, i'm getting a bit tired of training with AI as they mostly all of the tiome keeps going Afterburner and keeps doing vertical lops on and on and on, and doesn't seem to be stoped as i am since they never seem to be stalling and anyways, i wanna try with real people, i'm too scared to go on servers right away, specialy if i waste time waiting for people to get there. :) My friends are a bit busy in other games, so here i am trying to find partners, i mainly fly F-15, but felt in love with the Su-27 also, but i am still learning it's systems, not yet at it's missile, only so far dogfighting with guns, got to learn the russian weapons :) Thanks
  2. GReetings alll, Newly to the Huey, i do have a small question though, there is no way i can fidn the info either from searching the forum or google.. Where in hell is the Force Trim Button in the control menu, all i find is the Force Trim Switch On/Off? :S I mean the little red pickle button on the cyclic :)
  3. only thing i copied was my control settings which i imported/loaded inside the control menu of the option menu and my missions. Anyways i should post in a new thread for this problem and not taking over this thread.
  4. Hi all, I'm having a little problem with the Mig-29, i've installed FC3 a day before 1.5 came out, it was all new to me, but i had an issue with the view, guess it has to do with 6DOF? There is no way i could see back of the bird inside the cockpit, the back seat was blocking my view, not able to zoom or move the eye sight up down, front back... i've seen in a video the guy didn't had my view he could see the vertical stab and the wings, and now with 1.5, when i load my missions done in 1.2.16 i still have this problem, but when creating a new mission, i do get the view the guy had ans the one seen in the video at the first post of this thread.. any way i can fix this? i wanna save up my mission and being able to fly the mig in it, but with that view, it's unflyable, i can'T see my 6 and get sot real quick.. here's a screen shot of my view. I can't even move right or left, all i can do is move forward or back. Thanks

  6. Great, good to know! But i decided to go with it and start training BRV using the Mig-29S with it's jammer, while being at it, it won't be useless, rather start tough, and after a few days, jammers ain't a problem anymore but more of an help since it helps me spotting them faster on VSD. Now i know around 25 nm i start having a read on them, so i put my « TDC » for 25nm when i get a jammer on my VSD and get ready to lock them in TWS :) Still new to dodfights and BRV but it's starting to paye now, when using the crank technics and stuff. Lots of homework and reading done this week for this lol
  7. Nice, many thanks Grimes, but i took the easy way, i simply took the escorts off which fixes it :) and simply make the Tankers and Awac invisible, sot the bandit i call in using the radio menu won't bother with them anymore and save their little bad missiles for us :)

Well after a few weeks of different practice with the F-15c, new to air-air combat and stuff, i haven't refueld much since a week or 2, but i finaly got easy with refueling as host or single player with the bug :) Thanks to Mav with his queue and stuff. I simply never was able to refuel with flying at start the PDFL though, i hve to be a bit higher and i found it a bit easier to get a visuel reference on the tanker itself than the boom since it's moving. Here's a little Tutorial i've made which explain a biit the bug for who doesn't know and come across this post and for those who might came across youtube video only. Not perfect, but it does it. :) ${1}

Greetings guys, I'm trying to create a mission which i activate enemies with the Radio menu, all is as expected, came across lots of questions and so far all good, but now, my question is, since it's to train AA Combat, and i'm new to AA Combat, i want to learn gradualy and train with a friend, so i made all actions and stuff to make them agressive, but to easy it a bit, i made their payload without any IR missiles, but now i do have something that is a bit annoying to train using my missile options, menus, when thy have jammers... is there a way to turn enemy AI jammers off? Since lots of them ain't ECM pods you can load on stations, or if there is nothing to do about it, use aircraft not equipped with jammers?

Ohh you made my mind back to life when you entionned Gamefly :) It wasn't Steam for sure because i didn't know about Ateam in 2011, but you made me remember i bought this Sim when i discovered Direct2Drive for an MMO i bought there and went in the Sim section :) So i confirm while loggin, it was bought on Direct2Drive.com Thanks, not it all make sens, but i was so sure i bought it from ED Website :)
  11. Thanks for the reply! Great idea, having stand-by units to take off was brilliant! Thanks a lot! But i made it diff, since having a waypoint for it needs the unit to pass by the waypoint to ativate the flag, which, when RTB the AI decide where to land when a few airfield close by, which is the case in my mission, since it's clsoe to Kutaisi, i did lots of tried with tankers and Awac with low fuel state to see how they behave on the map view with sim time accelerated, save up time lol And what i came up with is, having a trigger for each tanker and awac and when unit's X altitude below x will then activate the stand-by unit and take off. Since 2 reason the aircraft will drop altitude, either landing or crashing, when engaged by enemy they will loose some as evading but not much since they are immortals and i made reaction to threat Passive Evasion. so what i did is made the triggers when they drop 2000 feet beow their cruise/route altitude, so even when bugged by enemies they won't drop 2000 feet. And keeping in mind thet the trigger Unit's altitude below.. is in meeters, so converting feets to metters, which at first was a huge problem when trying out, because it wasn't working and didn'T figured out why, and Manual was helpful;, pointing out the trigger is in meeters :)) Her my testing misison attached.
  12. Yess as mentionned earlier, i tried, but the diff between A-10c and F-15c, is i don't get any trace of date ordered or order ID versus F-15c... odd :) This bug is making me feel like i hacked the game but i bought it lol

Thanks for the reply, but i'm quite sure, i bought it in 2011, didn't heard about Steam back then and i only created my Steam account a month ago when i reinstalled my Sims to buy the FSX version. :) But as mentionned earlier, it was there a month ago beause i reinstalled it, that'S where i got my software key and download if i remember.... but now it's not anymore, guess i'll contact support.

Thanks for the replies, 1st - yes it was with the same account, i only have one. 2nd - I always keep receipt in mail box when buying online and can't find it, odd since i never delete them or maybe by mistake. 3- in module manager, for download, modules i have doesn't show, and in the installed section, both modules i own are there with valid serials. So i went on the website, in the Check Serial section, i checked both my A-10C and F-15C, both are fine, the diff, with the F-15C, i get in the return infos, a date order and the number which with the A-10C it doesn't show, odd, but makes sens since i don'T have an orer by mail.... seems i have no trace of the purchase... but in both case, it shows it is bound to teh same account, and i do have a bind date, and says bound on 09-04-2011... shows hte times i activated it, 3 times which is true, initial when purchanced, 1 time when cpu sawp and last time when HD swap... Really odd :) I'm confused a lot because A-10C was my first game/software i purchased online as digital, wel besides some FSX add ons.

Greetings, Something odd is happened, i went today on the website and logged to see if i bought A-10C Warthog before feburary 2011 to get the Nevada map, but, when i went in my orders, A-10C Warthog is not there anymore and it was about 1 month ago when i decided to reinstall it which i didn't have it installed for a few years.... and now all there is is my purchase of the F-15C Stand alone.... that's odd, if i need to reinstall, i'm screwd downloadnot available... when i browse modules and go in the F-15C, it sais i already purchased it, but A-10C Warthog, it doesn't say so....

Greetings guys, I'm creating a Mission to train, mainly using the F-15C or A-10C, and i have 2 tanker's slower for the A-10C, and a faster one for the F-15Cs, and also an AWAC, all three of them have their routes and Turn over point and so on, ma question is, once they end up RTB for low fuel, how can i make then get back to their route after refueling , in other word i'm limited in the ME and i need some cue as to what i should do si they are always up and runing?   19. well this bug is really starting to piss me off, can't even refuel in my missions i create or even can't when hosting a mission and fly with my buddies... really an anoying bug.... :( can't wait til this is fixed, i even tried lots of different options on the process or even in the mission editor trying to find a kinda bypass with this bug and noting happwns, sigh :)) i had to talk about it to let my little frustration comes out :)

Could be, i had the feeling of it, but i then deletec the tanker they were going after which was the first created in the ME, and then i recreated a new one after the test with one tanker, and still goes for the further one, i even played witht he time of spawn, but still, if it's the case, the second formation folowing the other tanker will then go for the wrong one if it's the case, guess i'll siply fill them with 3 tanks and escort the tankers, at that speed it will take then long to go empty, by that time i guess i'll be done flying in the sim :(

Grettigns guys, I'm trying to create a mission, where i have 2 tankers, one at 17 000 ft and faster for F-15c when we fly it and another tanker for slower birds like the A-10c, at 14 000 ft. i make a 2 unite group of f-15s escorting both tanker, the refueling works with the f-15 i set one at 5% and it does go for refueling, the bad side is, for some reason, it doesn't refuel with the tanker he's escorting but flies out and rejoint he other tanker, i'Ve tried to make the distane besides the 2 tankers route higher and still no joy, they agian go for the otehr tanker.. i tried to slow their tanker to see, doesn'T change a thing it goes for the other one, i deleted the second tanker to see and now they do refuel wirh the one they escort, i added another tanker after that to try out and back again to rejoin the other tanker... is there something i'm missing to specify to which tanker they must refuel? IT's a bit annoying when 2 fighters are escorting a tanker and when they need to refuel, they break and rejoin another tanker at 50 nm aways and leaving the other one alone :mad: Help! :)

Well i'll wait until then, even though they all spawn at the same height i still need to lear kill them first before they get me and find them on radar :) You know if it's possible to spawn random group? for exemple if i create more than 1 IL-78 when i spawn, it select one of the unit inside a group or so?
  23. I'm so not into scripting, this gives me a headache :( I'm trying to make in my mission some spawning using the radio comm, this works as i used RAF Automan,s script, but i'm trying to make my spawn random altitude, how could i achieve this huge puzzle? :(

    Hi RAF, I've dowloaded Automan, i needed to get a radio option to spawn targets, your script does it weel using the __SPAWNGROUP__ and __SPAWNZONE__ tags, using the spawn_disperse_radius = 50, my question is, i want to also be able to get spawn from the same target but at different altitude, more likley randomend, so what is the best way to go, creat a groupe for a specific aircraft, ie the IL-78, and inside this groupe creating a few units with diff altitude ans when spawning with the radio it can randmomize which unit will be spawn? Or i need to make different groups with one unit but all diff altitude? Or simply a single group or unit and there is an option like the disperse, but spawning it at random altitude? In other workds, using the ME is not that bad, but as using or creating script, this is way too complicated for me and i'm not patient enough for this :) or if you can simply type in the code which i can add to my mission with the 'DO SCRIPT' inside the ME? Thanks
  25. Good trick indeed. For some personal choices though, i try not to use the F-10 map view, since it is not available in some MP sessions and is a bit annoying when flying formaiton, leaving from eye sight my lead or what is going on in front of me, so i tried a different aproaches and not access menus, besides the comms one and be sure exactly where i am going.
