  1. Is there a gun safety switch in the A-10C? I don't see it.
  2. I have been away from the A-10 for a bit and downloaded it along with my profile. The only thing that is different is that I needed a new stick. It is the same stick, a Saitek X52 Pro. Everything works fine but the canon. It is not recognized by the program and I am at wits end. Cleared cache, re-downloaded, assigned "Button 1" in DCS controller mapping. Even went so far as to dig out my old stick, just to see if IT would be recognized, to no avail. Ideas?
  3. I"m sorry, how do I do that? Direct X from a drop down menu? Forgive me for my computer naivete.
  4. Hey feefifofum! Strangely enough...yes. When using the SST while pushing the #2 button only a single shot. If I hold it down continuous...one shot then nothing. The trigger works fine (#1 button.)
  5. I have tried various means to fire missiles on the F-15C. I had posted on the Flaming Cliffs/F-15C site to no avail. The key bindings for "weapons release" is "RAlt=Space". I have bound it to my #2 button on my Saitek X52 Pro. Pressed it for 2, 3, 4 secs and no result. I bound the keys to my SST profile and it fires one round from the gun, nothing else. I have tried a clean reinstall, unplugged/plugged my stick, clear cache, run as administrator, re-boot, nothing. The funny thing is is that it worked fine a couple of weeks ago. My rig is running an x299 MoBo, GeForce 1070, Pentium 7820. At a loss.
  6. Still no joy This is after I did a clean re-download. The external camera shows one round being spent after I push "weapon release". Thanks much! RAlt+Space.zip
  7. In my last post I failed to mention that I "verified game cache" and "re-installed" the game.
  8. Thank you for the pointer, but still no joy. It's funny, prior to changing my key bindings all was well. Now when I press the "release weapons" the cannon just fires a single shot.
  9. I have configured my key bindings, no conflicts. Radar works well, lock on works well but missiles fail to fire. Keybinding is RAlt+Space to #2 "release weapon". No joy. AAMRAM, Sidewinder, Sparrow...nothing. Ideas?
  10. I would like to hook up a second monitor for the F-15C. I'm 60 years old and my vision is not up to par, even with the zoom. What I am hoping to do is set up the second monitor so I can utilize the VSD more readily. Whether I can do that is my unknown. Anyway my rig is a MoBo x299, Geforce 1070, Intel 7820x. Thanks.
  11. I have two monitors. Is there a way to apply the VSD to the 2nd monitor, as opposed to the default of the right MFCD?
  12. I had viewed a YouTube video on keybindings for the F-15C. I am trying to bind the nipple on my X52 Pro for the TDC. The darn thing is is that it is on the x, y axis and this conflicts with the pitch and roll of the plane itself. Any ideas would be helpful.
  13. Question. Why isn't a tutorial offered for this plane in DCS World?
  14. A few years back I downloaded a profile for the A-10C by "memphisbelle" but for the life of me I cannot remember how to do it. I am getting back into the sim scene and would enjoy downloading a profile for the F-15C. Any guidance would be most welcome. Thanks.
  15. Flying missions with varying lighting, weather conditions, attitude of the AC etc. I have found that the using the Maverick is inconsistent. I use the TGP to find my target, TMS long for SPI, then China Hat forward to slave the Maverick. Once in range, make Maverick image SOI, TMS then rifle...50/50 no joy.
  16. I don't know why, but the maverick exhibits "no track launch ihbt". I have set up everything correctly. TMS short for point, china hat forward for slave. Still...no joy.
  17. Clarification Instead of "macros" I found out it was "modifiers". I figured it out. I should read more and experiment before posting. :book:
  18. Question...back in 2011 I used a forum profile to play. Now I want to pick the sim back up and create my own profile. How does one assign a macro? I have an x52 Pro and the A-10C utilizes a lot of functions. For instance...if I have assigned my coolie hat to trim and would like to use it for TMS in another mode, how would I do this?
  19. I have installed the current drivers Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_7_0_40_9_x64_Drive rs_pfw.exe / 6789 KB / 15.07.2015 and the most recent SST version. I have downloaded various older drivers and versions of the SST. I purchased DCS A-10C and my X52 Pro in 2011. I had downloaded a profile from the forums and the sim worked fine. I took a hiatus from playing in the latter part of 2014 and now want to pick it up again. The profile is recognized in the SST but not the game. My OS is Windows 7, MoBo Asus Z97. If I can remember correctly, the file I put the profile in back in 2011 was SD6, now I am putting it in the Smart Technology Profile file. Correct? Any ideas?
  20. Hello. Yes I do see the column. When I run the game, the axis do work. Since I am to lazy to complete all of the key bindings, I am trying to run a pre-made .prO-profile.
  21. I purchased A-10C back in 2011 & the X52 Pro soon after. I played the sim up to the early part of 2014 and thought that I would pick it up again. The problem that I am having recently is that I have downloaded the current drivers & the SST software and have a profile that is being recognized by the stick (MFD), but is not recognized by the game. Do I need updates or quite simply, am I missing something?
  22. Thank you for the reply MadDog. Using the clutch, scrolling, then right POV does not activate the profile. I had had the sim on my C drive, but did an upgrade and have now had to start over. No problem in the past. I downloaded it initially in 2011.
  23. For some reason I have downloaded a profile using zip, extracted it into my profile folder. Using the SST profile manager it comes up ok. When I start the sim I cannot get the game to recognize the profile. Using the clutch, it shows the name of the file, but it does not enable it. (..) then DCS A10 then nothing. Any ideas?
