Now that the artist is known, I have updated my post to reflect =FV=MAD's credit to his absolutely brilliant work on the numbers and markings.

Long time comming but we are finally at a release of a 14 month project. I want to thank my very good friends Mechanist, MrWolf-Loskins, for their help in getting this accomplished for the community. Without them this project would not have been possible. Here are three new screenshots of my Blue No. 51 utilizing the new template. Along with the new two part template, I have added the file for the new high rez wheels. Also new high res numbers and markings, done by artist =FV=MAD. I am including my Blue 51 skin. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=16254 But this is without markings and numbers. It has also been modded to work with stock LOMAC numbering system. But do yourself a favor and add =FV=MAD's beautiful High rez number and markings. Now, everything about this template is not for the faint of heart machines as the template alone is 92megs alone. Hey we wanted the best , it comes at a price. FPS's are sure to take a minor hit but nothing all together noticable. The template is in a factory almuminum primer finish, so it will be all up to you to paint ground up. Please forward us any comments suggestions. This is Version 1.01 and we will be adding skins, and making improvements to the template. If you like the work please let the artist know. There is a Readme please take the time to read it. It will explaine some very importaint steps for the proper use and placement of the template. http://www.repulonap.hu/redhunters/templates/images/template/Cy-25HRT.zip

SU-25 20480X2048 .PSD Template
STAR_80 replied to firesoldier845's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
We were actually waiting on trying to have the Template added to Lomac as part of the final LOMAC update through the BS installment. This simply is not going to be possible with legal and time issues that encompass LOMAC at this stage. I am truly dissapointed, as it really would have been something to have her looking her best for the final show. But, who knows hopefully "Tank Killers" will give full attention to such a deserving airframe. I am presently converting all stock skins that came with LOMAC into the new 2048 template as well as adding the finished Blue No. 51 and "Cocaine Killers" Peruvian. I'm hoping to release the new template on October 27, as a birthday gift to myself :P but this realease date will be contingent on my partners in crime. Thanks for the support and the input you guys have given me throughout this project. -
I like the old ones better. LOL J/K the old ones were so bad thats actually funny.

OT: Searching OV-10 Bronco Flight Manual
STAR_80 replied to MBot's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Oh, the Bronco. I'd drop my Su-25 in a sec to fly her. -
Weasel wrote: PS: Anyone remember "Hind" from DI? There one could drop mines from the Mi-24... and some missions had that task..... gave me a strange feeling.... Ahhh... Hind from DI man that brings back memories. Really awsome sim for its time. But, again DI made the some of best sims of its genre.

I would really rather a Track IR4 and I pay extra. Or a Touch Buddy setup. Hell anything really. I have it, waited along time to bring myself to actually get it. And my father buys it and gives me his. So this ones here going to waste. I figured it would be easier for someone to trade for it. Its going to ebay next week if nothing comes about. Cause $120.00 is alot these days in any curancy. Thanks for you guys offers.

What Target Drones Does the US/Ex Soviets Use?
STAR_80 replied to Ukr_Alex's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
History Channel has a very nice show in rotation about bone yards. It goes from using the World Trade Center scrap being used on the USS New York http://www.hoax-slayer.com/uss-new-york-wtc.html to ending with the whole process of preparing the F-4 for Q duties and A-10 revamps. http://store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=73830 -
How many people here fly the Su25t?
STAR_80 replied to Mizzy's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Bahhhh!! With Su-25A/K in the right hands, she makes the T pointless. Although, I never said in my hands. :) Plus, all the chicks dig it.:pilotfly: -
The Su-25 does have simulated failed engine starts every 1 in 30 startups. You have to shut down and let it spool all the way down. Then restart. Sometimes they do not restart you have to get a new bird.

STAR_80 replied to Pilotasso's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Eh? LOL Everytime you fighter guys start talking your technical mumbo jumbo buisness, it makes us ground pounders suddenly feel very sleepy. :P It really is awsome how LOMAC offers a complete A2A / A2G expirence. -
Favorite online plane to fly and why
STAR_80 replied to ScEBlack1's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Su-25A/K for me. As when those rare times I actually make it back to base in one piece, there's always for some reason a huge group of toppless babes throwing rose pedals on the taxi ways to guide me back to my repair poisition . :D -

A video of REAL LIFE PLANES!!!!!!!
STAR_80 replied to 23rd_SATAN's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
The US also used this technology with the X-29 program. Extreme AOA (angle of attack) testing. This was one of the options tested before vectoring thrust capibilities was perfected to the an actual useable state it is today. -
When I start the program, I can only see half the options as the box that contains adjustments cannot be resized. Therefore I cannot hit the apply button. See pic> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v665/STAR_80/untitled.jpg

OT- Su-25 on the Military Channel

Star 80 + Su-25A/K = LOVE 4 EVAR:cheer3nc: -
Mechanist and I have been hard at work on the new Su-25A 2048 template. We are glad to announce we are nearing completion. We have yet to decide the release package as we have a few options we are still pondering. We also want to thank you, for all your patience. Below are two new screenies of the various new details, and a still very early skin of aircraft No. Blue 51. Thanks again to the community.

Search and Rescue 4 was the last installment of the series. It is a very underrated sim. But, It also is one of the most difficult, partly that its flight physics are too advanced vesus the simplicity of the controls. This is just a stick and rudder sim, but its physics could support a complete array of complex controls. Real pilots have stated this about the sim. Stating it was harder than the real thing. But it is cool to fly from hospital to a crowded city street and pick up a pedestrian that got hit by a car. Or kids that were drag racing and wrecked. They could build so much into this little sim, but havent. Thats why it remains so obscure.
