  1. I cant wait for beta release and I have pre-purchased already. Thank you very much RAZBAM for introducing this airplane to DCS. It is going to be great.
  2. Yes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weapons_of_the_Vietnam_War#Aircraft
  3. The F-111 and/or the A-6. Both these planes might be a great addition to DCS.
  4. Dont know how, the videos are there now. Fiddling for a few hours helped. Thanks for suggestion though.
  5. Thanks for the info, unfortunately there is no download button in the training section when installed via steam :( Tempted to use the steam keys and just download the entire thing from the website.
  6. Hi there. Recently started playing again after some time away and things sure have changed :). Encountered a small problem and cannot find a solution, some threads have been opened on this but it was never solved. 1. Bought the game on steam, and have the following modules: FC3, CA, A-10C 2. Installed via steam download and install, although on non-system internal SSD (read E not C) 3. Downloaded the training videos from the ED website download section. Problem, the install files all return the same error: "DCS not found! Installation interrupted!" Already copied the training video install files into steam dcs folder but no joy. In some threads regarding the same question there is no solution just more people with the same problem saying me too me too. There is one thread mentioning that these files are already included in the steam version. I sure cant find them. Aaaanyways, if someone has a solution that would be great. Have a great weekend guys.
  7. Yep, had to download the full game again with Steam (7-8gigs) in order to update to 1.1.0.8. Did it overnight, worked well. Great update. Nice work ED.
  8. Fiveohmike, congratulations. I also just had to wait for three weeks and finally got mine tonight. Been trying it out and it is awesome. As I couldnt wait I read the manual cover to cover and tried things in the missions with the keyboard, that was not fun. I watched loads of youtube vids and asked myself how everyone is flying that plane so smoothly. Now I know. Stick is awesome. Hope you get it tonight. Enjoy :).
  9. That guy didnt complete the shutdown procedure. Flaps still down and speedbrakes on. Bet he left the pitot tube heating running as well :).
  10. Although the keys are already registered under bindings in the options menu I had to re-bind the same keys for them to work, noteworthy the direction keys (up, down, right, left) and rudder keys (z, x). As I am still waiting for my hotas warthog to arrive I am using the keyboard to fly and without those keys I did not get too far. Took me ages to figure this out. No, I am not the sharpest tool in the box. Long story short: Try re-binding the keys in the options menu. Clear key assignment, assign same or preferred keys, they start working as they should (for me). Keyboard I use is Logitech G15.
  11. Hi, I am new to DCS Flightsims Warthog and Blackshark. Wanted to thank ED for the game support and the feedback. Having read back in the forums I am amazed at the sheer level of support and interaction from ED members. Thank you. ED, bring out another title and you have my 50-60 bucks for sure. At the same time, I am very happy that these forums are full of people who genuinly offer help and advice without bashing or ridiculing newcomers like myself. Refreshing. Thank you.
