  1. Am I understanding it right that Tranche 2 has no A/G capability?
  2. Can it have 8 axis AND 128 buttons simultaneously, or does there have to be a compromise?
  3. Can you have 8 axis AND 96 buttons or are there limitations?
  4. Yeah, I made it when deltasim's mod was still a prototype and he was only selling the board. Since he now sells them as a complete kit, my design is obsolete. I've left it up however since it's designed as a non destructive way to mount a naked ministick, in case anyone wanted to experiment.
  5. Glad to see you back Baker. Will the "data over network" function include video?
  6. It would be good if ED could disable network discovery while DCS is launched; assuming that's possible.
  7. So what's the difference between this and the Normandy map?
  8. Would love a new throttle. Would love it even more if it had the correct throw.
  9. Blue, how long do you think it will be before you are ready to release the files?
  10. Ah, yeah, that's disappointing. This is why I started the thread in the first place, it's the kind of thing I don't want to be dealing with. I don't want to be deliberately learning something wrong just to get around something that ought to be fixed.
  11. Awesome. Thanks guys.
  12. I bought this module on release and I think I've only ever flown it once, deciding it wasn't anywhere near complete enough to fly. However I've been thinking about it again, so now I want to know how complete it is, both in terms of functionality and realism?
  13. I don't get why you subscription idiots are so desperate to promise my money to other people.
  14. What's that got to do with Vulkan though? My understanding is that all this will help do is uncouple the graphics pipeline from the CPU.
  15. Never mind DCS, I'm looking forward to this in Xplane.
  16. Won't work. I had the same problem. The main monito always has position 0,0 in the top left corner, so any monitor to the left is a negative position which DCS can't display to. The only solution I could find was to use a monitor management software and a separate monitor profile before I started DCS.
  17. As long as you use a USB 3 hub in a USB 3 port, you should be fine in most cases. I have my VPC stick, WH throttle and 2 MFDs all plugged into one 4 port USB 3 hub. That way I can lift my rig onto the desk edge, tighten the clamps and plug in just a single cable into the top of my PC case.
  18. I'd start with just upgrading the RAM and seeing how you cope with it. DCS is quite RAM hungry. I'f you're still not happy (particularly in CPU heavy X plane), then you may want to upgrade.
  19. I had exactly the same problem. You'd think that for such an expensive stick they'd use something a bit better than some pot metal. I replaced it with debolestis' one in nylon. It's a tiny bit loose and may need some shims.
  20. Why are they offering that (it would be nice if gigabyte did the same)?
  21. For uniformed pilots where you don't even see skin? Take your virtue signalling and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. I've never met anyone more racist and sexist than the social justice warriors being offended on other people's behalf and using "progress" as an excuse to masturbate their own egos by trying to alter other people's experiences and entertainment. Jackasses like you mean that every time there is a minority or female in a video game, they will always be perceived as diversity tokens. I WANT to hear more voices over the radios, but idiots like you keep insisting on souring it.
  22. I couldn't get it to work in the end. Just as well really, since it would have appended the lines in the axis section of the file which may have caused problems.
  23. Ender 3s are great because they are dirt cheap and have tons of support. They work well enough out of the box for PLA and with only a bit of TLC they can produce fantastic quality prints (I have it's bigger brother the CR-10S). Supposedly though they're not suitable for printing ABS out of the box due to the hot end design (poor cooling causing heat creep) and the PTFE used (it melts and releases toxic fumes). To get them printing ABS, it's advisable to at least upgrade the PTFE to capricorn tubing or better yet a V6 hot end (ideally all metal). For cheap beginner printers though, they are ideal and very moddable.
  24. It's a good idea, but it would put those lines outside of: }) return resat the end of the file.
