  1. You would want your speed to stay above 250-280 i would guess it helps the pac keep you aligned easier. anything above 280 is dangerous in my book especially if your going to pull a max deflection pull out. And if your not using pac it wouldnt matter anyway the gun is gonna pull you up no matter how fast your going.
  2. It is most likely overloading of the wings by pulling too many G's with weight on them. The heavier you are the less G's you should pull. Think of your head as weighing 10 lbs and when you pull 1 G your making your head 10lbs heavier as an example(probably not close to right). So, if your wing is rated at 25,000lbs and you have 5,000lbs in stores on that wing that wing can only hold 5 times what you have stored there. So most likely pulling a 5+G maneuver you will over stress the airframe and loose some parts. Now, I am probably wrong on the math and all that but that is the basic principal I believe. Please, correct me if I am wrong. Also, keep a close eye on what Paul has to say once his testing is finished.
  3. I dont think cichlidfan was giving a definitive answer, and I doubt anyone has it or if they did that they could post it. Hitting Alt+F1 gives you a basic visual of what a gun cam would look like anyways.
  4. If you back up the DCS Warthog folder in User\Saved Games your pilot should still be in there.
  5. Hmm, hopefully this still works just a different way of doing it maybe. Until then guess I am stuck with the ...
  6. Tried searching for both menuItemMaxLength and just the number 26 and neither exist in my CommandMenu.lua. And it isn't in the original either, guess I got a broken lua file some how unless they changed something with 1.1.0.9 attaching my current CommandMenu.lua if you want to check it out. And the odd thing is I did this in 1.1.0.8 and it worked fine and had no trouble finding what I needed to change... CommandMenu.lua

  9. I had found a thread here on the forums explaining how to resize the radio menu so the rearm list was fully visible. What is currently visible: AGM-65Dx4, CBU-97x4, TGP... What I would like to see: AGM-65Dx4, CBU-97x4, AIM-9x2, TGP, ECM Any chance someone can link me that thread or post the way to do this please?

  13. On a good day, I can get 3-4 off. But, I normally rifle two and then break to steer clear of any threat engagement zones that may be there. Good for keeping the chief happy when I get back.

  20. Going off of what BoneSaw said, this is in the Sticky FAQ here on the forums. Start there maybe and then fine tune it to what feels best. Q: Why are my controls too sensitive? A: The default axis settings for the stick and be a bit touchy for some. If you feel this is the case or you. we suggest: 1- Select Options from Main Menu 2- Select Controls tab 3- From Category drop down list, select Axis Commands 4- Select Pitch for JOY Y and then press Axis Tune button 5- Set JOY Y Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30 6- Press Ok button 4- Select Roll for JOY X and then press Axis Tune button 5- Set JOY X Deadzone to 10 and Curvature to 30 6- Press Ok button 7- Press Ok button at bottom of screen to save changes.
  21. I was in the same position you are in a few days ago, I have the same joystick and went with the TrackIR and I am happy I did. While the joystick is not the best, it is functional and I know Nate can give you a good profile to maximize its functionality for A-10C. My suggestion would be TrackIR first and HOTAS later.
  22. Looks great Sirrah! Hopefully it doesn't trigger the MP integrity check.
