Hi All, I used to mod the missiles_data.lua to tweak some of the parameters around the 120c for my own personal fun , however this is no longer linked to the FA18 as any tweaks no longer have affect , does anyone know where this file is now ? I changed small things thing Tail exhuast solid as a tester and soon can workout it does nothing anymore , so any help would add more cinematic fun for my own single player missions :)

TGP Reset TGP to Bore Hi Guys, Need some help i have tried all buttons and combos but whenTGP is slaved to steer point or other i cannot reset to default position (Center of hud / Bore Sight) tried C and V and many other and no joy ... Only way around this is to put the TGP into AA then back to AG mode which does the trick Apologise for the small silly question as sure it's a simple fix

YAY !! So i manage to solve by deleting the folder "USS John C Stennis" and then using the repair which installed it back and all working again :) something must of corrupted but so chuffed solved

Hi All, So this is very strange but after the latest update to DCS 2.5.6.45915 i have had strange problems but the main one being when loading a mission such as FA18 Take off from carrier the mission loads with no me and no carrier (F10 view or F2) only other planes around.. I then build a mission with the editor just me in the air and the stennis , once it loads no stennis !! I have completed the instructions on both a DCS clean and Repair both successful yet the problem remains. Other issues are things such as dropping an 82Y as retard doesn't open parachute, the 154A on drop jumps to super high speeds and then explodes on impact with no damage and noe cluster even with settings set correctly as use many times before. I was hoping to wait for the Super Carrier Update to see if that fixes these issues but now worried as trawled the forum and nobody else appears to have this problem :( Any advise on how i can maybe roll the update back 1 and redo the latest or anything to fix this would be appreciated .. I sadly have crap internet so the option of a clean install will literally take 3 full days . Thanks

MMMmm i jumped the gun a bit there and didn't realise the CPU is old and won't fit new motherboards :( so had to cancel my order and need to have a rethink.. I might just have to upgrade more DDR3 for now and then bite the bullet and start new rig with all 3 changes but like you say this will be costly !!! It's not until you look at your order history and realise you pc is 9 years old.. I will have a look later and see the pricing to know what to do next ! I just love this game so much and would be epic to fly smooth like butter... Thanks again for advise , top man ! Just out of curiosity what would you change to (mainboard + processor + memory) now if you would advise ?

Amazing thanks for your advice and taking the time time to reply.. I have opted for 32gb DDR4 to swap out the ddr3 completely and not worry about running closed to 16 GB.. ������ Oh and just realised a new motherboard will be required.. Thanks again..

Hi Guys, So DCS runs amazing but still takes a while to load and graphics cannot run on mid-High to max settings and notice bits of lag. I am considering upgrading RAM or Graphics card (on a budget) but wanted to ask the question to all users with better knowledge than me... what would make the most difference RAM or Graphics card upgrade from current setup ?and secondly will it be worth it or should i wait / save up more and get a new rig ? Alternatively what is a good replacement for RAM "OR" Graphics card (or both) ?
