  1. Hopefully this is a better track to display the issue.
  2. TGP Not SPI? I'm getting this consistent issue when I use the TGP and get one good pass with it and then it won't be SPI? anymore. All of my subsequent passes seem to stop working. Bombs are falling short, Mavs won't target etc. everything needs to be manually targeted because the TGP becomes useless. I can't tell if i'm doing anything wrong or it's a bug. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dQbN0WVVHTFxc3N0PTLA62lW_JoXPR5i/view?usp=sharing
  3. Do you have a reference? I'm honestly curious.

    Hornet vs Viper

I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Hornet. I think it's beautiful and capable. I voted Viper because after flying the Viper the Hornet feels like a pig. The viper is just more capable. I love the option for carrier ops, and any time that I can use carrier ops I will always enjoy flying the Hornet. Once im in the air tho, the hornet just feels like a lazy viper that's over weight and slow. In the air the Viper can just do more. When I started using the Hornet in missions to be a budget F16 for the features alone until the F16 is up to spec, I realized I liked the viper more.
  5. I thought there was a stick lever for brakes since the Russians liked that so much.
  6. Will the SU25s get axis's for brakes any time soon? it's weird not being able to use my rudder pedals for the brakes on only this aircraft. is there a reason the real aircraft doesn't use an axis type control?
  7. yes. All maps can be installed at the same time.
  8. Having done it for real, Sometimes with something high performance it does get that harry. When you're not comfortable with something it can go all over the place. A runway is a challenging place to figure out your control and precision. When it's blowing hard it can really jack up your nerves too. The faster you go, the more concentration you need. a lot of times you have to go faster than you're comfortable with. Not all of us get the luxury of taking it slow with low pressure. In the end it just takes practice, practice, and practice. Start with a calm setting by yourself and slowly ramp up the excitement. add in more factors. Do it with some friends and let them talk you through it. soon you'll get the ability to be cool under pressure and do it all the time under the hairiest of conditions like when everyone is lined up to watch you. keep at it and you'll get it. Re-fueling is the next fun precision task after landing IFR in zero vis on a localizer in the F5.
  9. I found a document about a decade ago that explained this very phenomenon with contrarotating rotors. It has to do with the effect of free stream air hitting the advancing blade vs the retreating blade and the effects of the upper rotor affecting the lower rotor. I've since upgraded my computer and lost my backups but i'll look for it and post it. look up "simple" helicopters rotor dynamics for "retreating blade stall" and "dissymmetry of lift" that should tell you the basics about this "bug". The MI8 and UH1 also require cyclic inputs left and right to fly straight. With these cyclic inputs there is also a requirement to use the rudder input to keep a helicopter coordinated in straight flight. The KA50 is more weird because it uses differential collective per rotor system to create this yaw force which means the lower blade will have slightly more collective than the upper blade. you'll notice this issue more when you're cruising along near Vne and see the right side of the rotors getting close together. Fly faster and you can make your blades clap! *Insert Youtube link that Youtube won't let me find
  10. I'd spend $20 on that. Also, if you take too long to start up she'll start running at you with the rake and trying to smash your plane with it.
  11. LOL Thanks! I wasn't sure if I was doing it right and had no idea what was going on with the radios lol. I'm still figuring this thing out.
  12. Let me know if you can't download the track. I'm still having this issue and have no idea why my TVV is going way off to the left.
  13. Thanks! I was noticing there was a ton of missions to decipher when trying to find the issue in the ME. At first I thought it was a KA50 GOW Campaign simple issue and then it happened on one of the main F16 missions. I believe it is a new 2.5.6 issue instead of a KA-50 or mission issue.

  15. I captured the track. Don't know how to upload it because it's too big.
