  1. Does anyone have a template for the WarBrd that a mounting plate could be created from? I have seen the one on the Virpil website with the hole spacings, but this doesn't detail the radius of the corners on the WarBrd.
  2. I've recently switched to a WARBRD base and T-50CM2 Grip from Warthog base and grip. The biggest difference I've noticed is that I can execute fine control inputs a lot better on the Virpril grip and base than the Warthog. I still use my Warthog throttle.
  3. For anyone interested, £68.22 was the total import fees, with just over £55 of that the import duty.
  4. WarBrd base and T-50CM2 Grip Ordered: 23rd July Complete: 28th July ETA: 3rd August. FedEx Economy Shipping.
  5. Thanks, I ordered a WarBRD and T50CM2 grip.
  6. My TM Warthog grip needs a new CMS and Trim switch. TM have quoted me nearly £100 for them including shipping. This has got me thinking about upgrading my base as well. Has anyone recently ordered a Warbrd and grip for delivery to the UK? Did you get charged import fees and if so how much?
  7. Initially I only needed a replacement TMS switch but now may also require a replacement Trim switch as the left trim button is not being recognised. I finally got a quote from Thrustmaster now that they’re UK online shop has re-opened for the replacement switches. Trim switch: €25.77 + €5 Brexit surcharge + 20% UK VAT TMS switch: €22.02 + €5 Brexit surcharge + 20% UK VAT Slow shipping: €8.63 Express shipping: €16.81 This is not far off 50% of the cost of buying a new grip.
  8. @DeadMeat has replaced his TMS switch with the Otto T4-CK1112. I think previously he had replaced the momentary switches that Thurstmaster use in the switch with Omron switches.
  9. Heads up for anyone UK based looking to order new items or spare parts from Thrustmaster - the UK eshop is closed till 11th January 2021 due Brexit. I found this out after their support team got back to me late last night about an enquiry to purchase a replacement TMS switch for Warthog stick.
  10. Thanks DeadMeat. I've disassembled the joystick and discovered that the problem is the switch itself has been knocked off centre, causing the housing to become jammed as it was sitting lower on one side at the front. I've contacted thrustmaster to get a quote for a replacement switch.
  11. I've noticed the TMS Switch on my Warthog has become damaged and it will only move in an upwards direction. Not sure what is causing this. Firstly, can the switch thumb cover be removed to see if the actual switch still works? Secondly, is there a recommended replacement for this switch? Otto or otherwise. Mark
  12. Updated to 2.5.6 today and when I load DCS I have no modules bar along the bottom or menus on the right hand side. I'm sure I've had this issue previously and it was a relatively simple fix, but I can't remember the procedure. I am using the full version not the OB of DCS.
  13. Off topic, is that a P-38 control yoke replica in the background?
  14. I noticed in the video to promote the Virtual Air Tattoo that a custom DCS map has been created for RAF Fairford. Are there any plans for this to be eventually released as a stand alone map?
