  1. Had a problem with a TF-51 track last night. Track itself seemed correct but could not change camera view from F1 cockpit (F2/F3 etc had no effect)
  2. Kuky...thanks for sharing your experience....you just saved me some major bucks. Little help to you though :-( Used to be ATI fanboy but after switching to Nvidia and finding their drivers so much more reliable (especially SLI vs CF) and no stoopid Catalyst AI nonsense, I vowed never to go near ATI/AMD again as their drivers suck so bad. I was contemplating getting one of them there 7970s for going multimonitor but it seems like AMD are outdoing themselves again in the crappy drivers dept. Unfortunately releasing a buggy product and letting your customer base beta test seems to be the norm now, to the extent that I've taken to waiting at least 3 months before touching any new game or card. Hope you get it sorted.
  3. @Pilatasso More to do with the throttle base switches and setup (like Aginor) than the stick. And as an excuse not to shell out the big bucks :-)
  4. Went for the X52 pro myself... TM Warthog...too expensive and too specialised (want to use my setup in other sims) X65F...like the idea of the force sensitive joystick but the throttle size put me off CH Products...what I actually wanted but trying to get them in Europe/Ireland is a total pain in the ass! So ended up with the X52 pro. X52 Pros: No need for pedals...twist rudder which I find perfectly fine. Two stage trigger for PAC1. Programming software is usable. Ergonomics are very good. Throttle has a friction control ... detent removal mod is easy too :-) Bang for the Buck! (the main reason I bought it) X52 Cons: Build quality is merely ok...but then I'm used to CH stuff. Most pots have jitter ... not a huge amount but the slider is terrible. That f***ing centering disc really annoys me (will have to mod this somehow). And was the main reason I was looking for something else as I had an X45 before and hated it. There's a lot of centre play too. I'm still contemplating chucking it in the bin and getting some CH stuff. But it'll do for now. In fact that's probably the best way to describe the X52 :-)
  5. Works for me now (sli rendering setting)...no flicker in the TGP and MAV fps drop is minimal compared to previously A10C = 1.1.0.9 Cockpit = 512 vsync = on maxfps = 60 Nvidia = 280.19 betas (didn't work on 266.58 or 275.33 for me) PC = Win7 x64 | Q9550@3.8 | 460 SLI Getting more or less constant 50-60 fps! (1920x1200|AA 4x|no clutter|trees@7000|water medium|shadows medium|civ low) Now I can get stuck into the sim instead of dicking about with the settings!!! ;-) Thanks Quirk!
  6. Save yourself a packet and use the free software FaceTrackNoIR with a webcam...(I got the ps3 eye for 20 bills). Working perfectly fine for me, no headgear and in relatively dimlighting.
  7. Nice one...was pulling my hair out last night trying to program button 39 (right MFD) in A10 to use those 4 buttons for Coolie Hat (MFCD cycle/etc). Will try this later!
