  1. Hi Flappie, Update of the stable version (Dec 27 2022) has the same problem. No scoring anymore in the debriefing. Before the update it worked as it should do. It marks your kills. But the update has no kills on A2G kills. I wanted to let you know. Tornado
  2. Thanks Flappie. I wil check the forum from time to time as well as the changelogs.
  3. New data from today. I hope you can find something. A2A gives scoring, but not A2G dcs.log debrief.log track no scoring 18-12-22 17.00 hrs .trk no scoring data flight 18-12-22 ay 17.00 hrs.log
  4. Thanks, here are the files however I saw That there is a time difference in the log files and the track.miz. So I will do another run to have all running at the same time period. But maybe you will find something in this files. test scoring flight.miz.trk dcs.log debrief.log
  5. HI guys still have problems with the no scoring facts in the debriefing after the flight. I destroy targets but never get any scoring when I close the flight. I tried several options and changes in the saved games map. But so far I never found any solution. I have the latest update DCS OB from last Thursday/Friday Dec.15/16 2022. No luck to find the bug in whatever I changed modified. The scoring work in the stable version. You get in red the items you blow up in the flight itself and afterwards you see them in the debriefing. HELP
  6. test scoring flight.miz.trk text was gone but I use 2.8.0.33006 version. Sorry for a late response to busy with funeral. text was gone but I use 2.8.0.33006 version. Sorry for a late response to busy with funeral. I destroyed a Russian tanker on the ground with Mk84's
  7. No scoring in the debriefing indeed. Only when air to ground missions: score 0. Still an issue after the update form last Thursday. Occurred with for last update. ED are you able to respond on this problem. Thanks
  8. Yes that is the solution. Problem gone. But strange that you can start with the full screen. There is no difference so I will keep it that way for the time being. Thank Flappie for your help Tornado
  9. okay here it is. I hope you can find something. I also used my options.lua file from the DCS stable. But same problem as well. options.lua
  10. I have that issue too. Only when I start OB for the first time after starting the computer. I don't have that issue when I start OB for second time etc. Only once after a fresh start of the pc. I can only get into the game in that situation by CTRALTDEL. Not with alt tab. It just stay on the windows desktop an nothing response to the mouse. It freezes more or less. I hear the music playing. Strange situation. Never had that before. I tried with the option options.lua.bak as Flappie suggested. But then I will loose all my settings. That is less briljant. Is there another option. I can copy/past from the lua bak file. But what brings the problem in the lua file that is the question. Please some assistance.
  11. I did the following to get back to my own bindings (HOTAS WARTHOG) for the hornet: 1) Keep your bindings as you made them in the sim before the last update (in my case stored: CWIN (7)/Users/Rob/saved games/DCS.openbeta/config/Input/FA-18C_hornet) 2) Next step go the map DCS Openbeta/Mods/Aircraft/FA-18C/Input/joystick: you will find several lua files. Keep the default.lua in that map and back up all the other you will see in another map or map created by yourself: I made a made called joysticknew. I put these files into this created map: Joystick - HOTAS Warthog.diff.lua T.16000M.diff.lua T.Flight Hotas X.diff.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog.diff.lua TWCS Throttle.diff.lua VPC WarBRD + MT50.diff.lua VPC-Throttle.diff.lua Start the game and your own bindings will be back as they were before the update. Be aware that these other files will be back with all upcoming updates as ED will always update missing files or changed files. So this exercise has to carried out with every update. The red/brown highlighted bars are gone now. The conflict in the bindings starts when there are more bindings were attatched to one button. That happens with these new warthog lua files in the default.lua are in this DCS Openbeta/Mods/Aircraft/FA-18C/Input/joystick MAP. Hopes this helps...... For me it did.
  12. What I discovered after the 2.5.1 update is another sound related issue. When you start the mirage on the runway (engine running) or start in the air, you can hear the engine starts up again. It is in the background however because other sound files are louder in the air and on the runway, but you can hear it . Does anyone else discovered this bug? Also when you start the engine it start with the sound of the engine shutdown. When the engine spools up the sound of the spooling engine suddenly stops and other sounds files take over. It runs not smooth however.

  14. What I did: "deleted" (actually renamed it) the combustion_idle.ogg in the Coremods/Aircraft/M2000-C/Effects/Engines/SnecmaM53 map. I had no engine stuttering sound while taxing anymore. The engine stuttering started in my case when I pushed the throttle out of idle and than start to taxi. Very disturbing. It took me also quite some time before I discovered the problem. Why it gives a stuttering sound I really don't know like you said. For the time being I deleted/renamed it. It is not THE solution as it should work properly.

Question on the CCRP pipper. When I start on the runway or from the ramp (cold start) I see in the diamond shaped CCRP pipper in the HUD. I must say that I am still not that familiar with the CAS/bombing with the Mirage. But maybe some of you guys knows if the diamond shaped pipper when starting up or getting off from the runway is the standard since the update last Friday. I know that Zeus made changes with CCRP automatic release (as I read in this forum a couple of days ago). Maybe a little explanation will do.

Same problem with the Magic. Can not fire from the right wing. The Matra still works from the right wing.
  17. I asked Zeus the question were to find the external sound files and those can be found in the COREMODS map. These files start with e_M2kC...... The e for external and the internal/cockpit sound files can be found as this thread already stated in the MODS map. Thes files start with i_M2kC....... i for internal. Read the this thread as I asked Zeus a question about it http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=169430 By the way I also made some adustment which can be downloaded form the ED site Downloads User Files. Just for futher development in adjusting sounds etc...
  18. I just uploaded a try out for the Mirage sound files. The file will be published on the website after review by the ED moderator. Homepage of ED the section Downloads/user files. It is a first attempt to get some more volume for the "outside" sounds for the Mirage. Some files I kept and adjusted the corresponding sdef files. Some sound files I changed because to have a better volume and better sound. Some default Mirage sound files had an irritation repeating crack sound. It is all very personal and also depending on various other issues as sound cards, sound boxes, earphones and that kind of things. Adjusting the sdef files are most important as they are the source definition files in which you can adjust the volume, direction etc... The instructions to add/replace my sound files are in the written part of the downloads/user files section. I hope the moderator will give green light to my upload. Otherwise contact my via the forum. A 35 Mb rar file has been uploaded NB I had to adjust the afterburner wave files as I discovered later today that the afterburners did not work at all. Reason was the fact that I made .wav files from the .ogg files. Somehow for the afterburners the .wav files were not accepted in DCS however the .ogg files did. So I turned them back to .ogg again and adjusted the sdef files and made the gain gain = 10.40. Now you will hear them very loud. Hope it works with you guys too. My file was not examined by the ED moderator, so I was able to made the changes before publishing.:smilewink:
  19. Super Zeus, I will check that right away
  20. I had my Mirage sound files tweaked. However with the new sounds for the Mirage I lost them too. In the 1.5.3. (before the update) the Mirage used some "default" sounds. These came from the SU25 (such as the SU25FrontEngine.wav etc...) and also used the afterburner wav in the main sound map (effects/engines). But also important (in 1.5.3) were the sound files in the sound map (Sounds/Effects/Aircraft) such as PlaneFurWind.wav, PlaneGearWind.wav etc... It is a very complex issue these sound files (as also stated by Zeus as they are depended on ED for this matter). With the update 1.5.4. the Mirage uses partly its own sound files (mostly inside cockpit). You will find these in the Mods/Aircraft/M-2000C/Sounds. In the SDEF (sound definitions) map you can see which wavs files will be activated. The outside sounds are very very low however I can not figure out which sound files in the 1.5.4. are activated. It did several tests (by renaming maps so that the sound files would not be found when starting 1.5.4.) But even then you could hear the afterburner and the very low engine sounds. So there must be other ways (under the "hood" I think) that activate sound files which we can not find in the regular Maps. I checked most lua files as well, but I was not able to find any lua which gave a direction. Like Zeus wrote this is an ED issue. A little bit disappointing as that might take extra time till we have the right Mirage sounds. ED has more on its mind then the Mirage sounds. The outside sound can be a little tweaked with two files. I found out that 2 files gave some more volume for the outside. It are the following files: PlaneFurwind.wav/ogg (Sounds/Effects/Aicraft map) and the PlaneFarNoise.wav/ogg (Sounds/Effects/Engine map). Change the default PlaneFurWind and PlaneFarNoise wav files in sound wavs you like. You can also tweak the corresponding SDEF files for both the PlaneFurWind.sdef and PlaneFarNoise.sdef. This helped me a "little" bit as an alternative for the very low outside sounds for the Mirage :helpsmilie:
  21. Indeed same problem with the Mig. No sound outside. There must be something wrong the whole sound system of 2.0.2. Especially third party aircraft are affected.
  22. No sound external indeed. As well in the left corner (below) the mini jostick actions. Won't go away with RCTR+Enter
  23. Thanks for the responses so far. If you want to test if the sound files are working correct the best way is to rename the wav files in the following Map: DCS World 2 OpenAlpha/Sounds/Effects/Aicrafts/ rename or remove (with backup of course) the following wav files: PlaneFurWindIn.wav. PlaneFurWind.wav. PlaneChute.wav, PlaneChuterumble.wav In this way DCS will not find the wav files when you start up. With this action in my case there is no difference for the incockpit sounds if I remove or rename these wav files or having them activated as it shoot be. They have not any function in 2.0.2. However in 1.5.3. all is working as it should. The incockpit sound especially the PlaneFurWindIn.wav makes a huge difference in the incockpit sound when it is working as it should (as in 1.5.3.). I also use some wav files of my own (only a few) and enhance them here and there. (adjust them with the corresponding sound definition files .sdef also be be found in the sound map). But I always do the test first with the default issued DCS files. (after the update always set back or after a repair action) When you use the dragchute in 2.0.2. for the Mirage you will not hear the chute opening and rumbleing because these files are not working: PlaneChute.wav, PlaneChuterumble.wav. Test it on the way I discribed it. I would like to hear if you notice this problem now. Thanks guys an hope to hear from you.
