My search results were fruitless, so I will ask here for a detailed explanation of how to enter JDAM/JSOW pre-planned target coordinates in the Hornet. Official guide is a little sketchy.

DCS Waypoint Editor is a very handy tool for inputting weapon PP coordinates, as well as navigation waypoints. DCS WPE Github

Anyone who has not tried this great little utility should definitely do so. Especially helpful in multiplayer environment. BZ to Lasko.

I have not used this handy little utility in awhile, but now with latest OB I can not get Capture to Profile to work. Tested 1.2.5 and 1.3 beta. I get audible error Ba-dump, which is guess is failure to capture coordinates. F10/F11 capture works, but I can not get the screen center dot to appear. Latest Java JRE is installed. When I run The Way itself, the dot does appear. Send to Hornet is working normally.

Tx for replies. My main interest is whether or not DCS models different missile tracking behavior when the launching platform jammer is activated. Guess I will test it.

My question refers to jammer activation by the LAUNCHING aircraft, not others. So, will launch platform jammer activation interfere with the launcher's initial radar guidance of the missile? And furthermore, does it have any affect in DCS World?

If I launch my AMRAAM then transmit jamming, will the missile tracking be affected?

During pop-up bomb attacks the TGP loses target track, especially when switching bomb delivery mode from AUTO to CCIP. The new LOS does not seem to correlate with any other designation or waypoints. I would think that the LOS would return to last known location if desig point exceeds camera limits. Is this correct/expected behavior? Track file attached. TGP loses track at about 6:03:30. Config\SnapViews.lua in saved games folder.

Edit the defaultVR view for Hornet in snapviews.lua.

The e:\Game Data\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\View\SnapViews.lua file contains all the default view parameters as well as snapviews. find the Default view for your aircraft of interest in the file and experiment.

Looking for help. I am attempting to introduce a new function into the Macro_sequencies.lua script for the Hornet and I can not get the code to work. Here is the basics of my attempts: function TEST_MSG() message = _("TEST MESSAGE"), message_timeout = dt_mto end push_start_command(dt, {TEST_MSG}) I have tested dozens of minor modifications of the above with no success: the script will not even load. I suspect the error is in the format or parameters. Any help appreciated, as I am but a very amateur coder. My objective is to isolate some lua commands to either the Auto-start or Auto-stop areas of the script by calling a function with push_start or push_stop.

I think this is the headset I have been waiting for. Dec 2022 is good news. Hope to see more reviews soon.

I worked on something like this and was never able duplicate the push_start_command() type action in a script that would function other than by the auto start. One could program the key presses in a voice recognition program like Voice Attack.

I reverted back to my 32" QHD monitor several months ago. I had a G2 and tried Varjo, but could not get it to function for some reason tech guys never did solve. Still very interested in VR, tho, and have been watching for further news on Panasonic MeganX. Info from initial announcements in early 2022 sounded quite promising for DCS, but release has slipped and slipped again from "summer 2022" to now some time in 2023. The silence is deafening.

I have found that I must be flying pretty close to the proper glide path in a good setup at "ACLS lock-on" or the system does not properly control my Hornet.
