Sorry for late reply, became a daddy for the 4th time!!! I can confirm the RAlt +\ works... I have bound it to my throttle. All good. Thanks guys.

Like I stated in my OP, it's ANY aircraft. Not using VIACOM as I don't like it. It doesn't matter what button I assign, whether on my Warthog Throttle, or Virpil stick. I just want to bring up the COMMS menu. Like I say, sometimes it works throughout a whole mission, and sometimes, it doesn't.

The button in question works in the air, but then it stops working for no apparent reason...

No matter what button I assign the Comms menu to, sometimes it doesn't work. For example, I could be several minutes into a mission, and the comms button doesn't work, but it would at the start of the mission. It doesn't matter what aircraft I fly. I can go whole missions without a problem, but others, it'll work at the start, but when I need to access the comms menu, nothing happens. I have even tried binding it to a different button on my HOTAS during missions, but nothing seems to work. I am using version 2.8 on Steam. A TM Warthog Throttle, and a Virpil Mongoose stick, if that helps.

A few days ago I was happily flying in DCS when suddenly, my warthog throttle began acting strange. Absolutely no throttle until the lever is about 1/2 inch from full forward. I can increase/decrease the throttle but with very, very small movements, which is a nightmare! The grey slider is pretty much the same too. I have not changed any software/hardware, drivers/firmware are up to date. :joystick:

I have the T-rudder pedals from Thrustmaster, they have been working flawlessly until today. I was about to do a mission in the F-14 and noticed my rudder wasn't moving on the deck. I look at my Axis controls and see the Rudder is red? I've tried deleting, adding the axis numerous times but it still stays red. I have also tried IL2 and the rudder works fine there. Don't really want to resort to using keys, I have the Warthog HOTAS so no twisting stick...

I am using an X-56 HOTAS and Thrustmaster pedals. Whenever I set up the controls and save them, the path ends in Blackshark… I delete this bit and just save each profile I make. Once I return to main menu and no matter if I try a misson or campaign, the controls seem to be back at default settings. For example, my rudder is now the throttle and none of the HOTAS buttons correspond to the ones I saved. No matter what I try, the controls go back to default every time I try and fly.

I have just downloaded FC2, I have the setup.exe, setup1.bin + 2 files. I use Daemon tools to mount the BIN files but each time I try and use the EXE setup and use the browse to locate the BIN files nothing happens. How do I install this upgrade?
