  1. Mission Enhancer Package (M.E.P) (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  2. Hi! My very similar game update -problem is here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160224 EDIT SOLVED: I removed the (A10C) Red Flag Campaign (in the Module Manager) and reinstalled it. It solved my problem (link above). Even my earlier mission progress was untouched. Great!
  3. Hi, I downloaded the latest game update (via updater, to version# 2.0.1.49921) and now the A10C RF Campaign doesn´t start any more. I can still find the RF folder and files (in the Mods folder), but the Campaign (or my mission progress) doesn´t show up in-game. When I was installing the Update, I saw an error message: ERROR: Can't move E:\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\_downloads\Mods/campaigns/DCS NTTR A-10C Red Flag Campaign/Doc/A10C-RF-Mission-04/A-10C Mission 4.pdf to E:\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods/campaigns/DCS NTTR A-10C Red Flag Campaign/Doc/A10C-RF-Mission-04/A-10C Mission 4.pdf: (183) Cannot create a file when that file already exists. At the in-game Campaign start I get this error: mission file ./Mods/campaigns/DCS NTTR A-10C Red Flag campaign/en/RF-10C-7.miz not found in .Mods/campaigns/DCS NTTR A-10C Red Flag campaign/en/A-10C RED FLAG 16-2.cmp EDIT SOLVED: I simply removed the (A10C) Red Flag Campaign (in the Module Manager) and reinstalled it. It solved my problem. I hesitated to do so, because I didn´t find any serial number (for the Campaign) in the Module Manager, until I realised, it was posted me earlier with the payment confirmation. When reinstalled it, surprisingly my mission progress so far was untouched. Great!
  4. Hi all, in v.1.2.2. radio transmission trigger endless loop issue has disappeared. However, once, unit in zone, radio transmission (loop off); NO SOUND! once, unit in zone, radio transmission (loop on); works as expected. ...and... once, random 100, radio transmission (loop off); works ok ...but... once, time more 10, radio transmission (loop off); NO SOUND! mission start, time more 10, radio transmission (loop on); NO SOUND! Hope to see this feature (WIP?) in operation soon.
  5. Have a look on this thread.... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=95146
  6. Hi, my knowledge in this topic is very limited. But what I do is simply open mission as instructed in manual (readily made or ME). I have a10c flight only (no K50s), 1 or 4 Hogs doesn´t make any difference for me. And in addition to this, "pilot can control vechicles" option is chosen in "Battlefield commander". To get back into my bird, I click my aircraft (or other bird in my flight) first on the F10 map and use only RAlt + J; there is not clickable button available to jump back to the Hog cockpit. But this works. For detailed explanation and proper answer in this issue you should contact ED. Sorry, can´t really help you more.
  7. This is the way how it "works" with me; If you jump into the ground unit cockpit, you will leave your aircraft control to AI (which is a feature in this beta version...). To come back again into the aircraft is possible though; Click your aircraft in F10 map and press RALT + J. Weakness is, that AI may do something which is not so desirable while you are on the ground. To avoid this, stay in a Hog and lead your ground troops using the map functions only.
  8. Try this: Create a little mission; place a ground (or air) unit in a familiar place. Repeat your simplified attack procedure until you master it without excitement of mission. And even after the pause of playing this sim, you have to refresh your skils. I thing this is what pilots do in real life.
  9. This is a tempting scenario in SP, which hopefully will be implemented in the future: Take off in a Hog cockpit. Once you have created a picture of battlefield events, turn on autopilot and jump in a ground vechicle to designate your targets. Then back into the a10c seat, and do a strike with your wingmen. First take airdef out, then weaken the opposite armour. Now it´s time to go again back to the ground units and finish the work as a leader of group of tanks. Unfortunately (in this beta) when leaving the a10c cockpit, AI takes the control of aircraft. Pilot is able to move troops only on the F10 map, which is quite something though... Anyhow this feature, possibility to keep control of your aircraft, would increase sicnificance of SP. To be honest, even with this rough beta version we can get great excitement. Thanks!
  10. Hi, I have the same issue here; I can´t get back into my Hog after commanding groud units. How-to?:helpsmilie:
  11. Thanks for your replay, Eddie. That makes sense. Downloading...
  12. Hi, I´m bit confused here. If 1.1.1.1 already installed, how can I upgrade to my DCS WORLD module? Am I supposed to install 1.1.2.1.exe only...?
  13. "And behold... I bring you good tidings of great joy.'' ... my circle track works beautifully again. And I found race-tracks aswell. Thanks for your help Nate, have a merry Christmas.
  14. Indeed. This is what happend: 1. In ME, created new miz. 2. 1 tanker (KC135) tasked for refueling. Starting point and WP1 added. 3. 1 a-10c for player; I was going to practice refueling, starting right behind the tanker. 4. On WP1, created advanced action; orbit circle track (for KC135). 5. I used FLY MISSION, not prepare mission, to get started. 6. When flying, the tanker didn´t perform circle track or any other shape at all; it turned 45 degrees right and flew straight forward. And I didn´t find racetrack option anymore in ME advanced actions (only circle was available), is it removed or what´s going on?
  15. Somebody/somewhere is working with Afganistan, isn´t he? "Batou", sorry if I don´t remember your name as it should be. Could you combine your efforts? Or on the other hand, it would be awesome to see two different maps.
  16. Thank you EvilBivol-1 for sharing this "the most wanted guide" with us. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1325462#post1325462 Did I already thank you EB? Thanks.
  17. Druid, first of all, Thank you! Your example is very (means VERY!) helpfull and inspiring. I can easily agree, that detailed ME manual of triggers, triggered actions and advisory examples included would be helpfull and would bring this great sim to new level. The info of using ME triggers, cockpit parameters and arguments should not be "top secret" any more; I hope ED can reveal these tempting features soon.
  18. Ok, thanks for your helping hand in this issue Ivanwfr. Now waiting for the official ME guide for triggers, I am aware of that it´s not the priority #1 in ED´s long WIP wishlist.:smilewink:
  19. How about "cockpit parameter and indication" rules? Any experiences yet?
  20. Ok, I figured it out. To use radio as a trigger, "Argument in range" has to be set in ME rules. For freq. 30.000, the first knob is figure 3 in real life, but the value for it is 0.1. And it has to be set "in range"; 0.05 - 0.15. Obviously cockpit PARAMETER is something else. I really hope, someone, somewhere, someday can explain these details for us, as mentioned in topic.:)
  21. Roger. The complete list of CA is found here; http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/84654/ Values #143-146 and #157-160 are dedecated to VHF/AM and FM radio. I am trying to create trigger for each knob, to check if radio is set on right frequency. But not sure if it works this way. I let you know if something is found.
  22. Ivanwfr, many thanks for your replay and example of argument triggers. "Argument in range" -rules seems to be working well. How about "Argument is equal to" , did you manage to get it work? I´m trying to create a realistic voiceovers; cockpit argument will check, if the radio is set properly. Radio -triggers like this... RULES: Argument is equal to #152, value 0.1 Still, I can´t get this work!:helpsmilie:
  23. Yes.:pilotfly: A detailed and more sophisticated guide for ME scripts and triggers would be valuable tool to create more realistic user and cockpit based triggers. Hope this kind of guide would be available soon. Earlier posted "Complete list of cockpit arguments" (by Olgerd) was exellent information, but I was not able to get it work. Does anyone know (any experiences), how to create "Cockpit argument is equal to" trigger? I inserted values, my cockpit did not responce.
  24. Hi, I´ve seen somewhere here in the Forums, that ed will (probably) create a detailed ME guide for cockpit based triggers sooner or later. Good.:) In the meantime, how to use (Olgerd) the complete list of cockpit arquments to make more realistic voiceovers? Radio messages heard when radio is off or is not set properly does not feel good. I would like to use parameter is equal to -tool in ME to check, that radio is set to right frequency, when audio (F10 radio or other audio) is played. I tried it, but it didn´t work yet. I´m looking for trigger, something like this for VHF/AM radio frq 131.00; RULES: parameter is equal to (parameter# 138, value 0.1); check if radio is set TR. parameter is equal to (143,13); check the first knob is set 13. parameter is equal to (144,1); check the second knob is set 1. parameter is equal to (145,0); check the third knob is set 0. And so on... How to use these arguments and values? Any experiences?:helpsmilie:
