  1. I was having this issue as well; I have a Reverb G2. I ended up trying the cross-eyed vr adjustment tool to mirror my left eye. This seems to have improved aiming a bit for me. Please note: I didn't have the cross eye the tool issues the tool was created for and my left / right alignment was only slightly different. I use right eye as my IHADSS setting. This could all be placebo.
  2. I had this very issue on the cold start, as part of the checks it actually has some cockpit items you do have to adjust as part of that check list. It messes you up because it being checks, you don't think you need to do anything, but you do. The first one you need to adjust is on the lighting panel, back left. There are maybe 1 or 2 more switches to adjust. They will all be highlighted. Since the first one is back and to the left it's easy to miss. Once adjusted you can proceed.
  3. This is amazing news, so very excited to see heatblur continue to develop for DCS world.
  4. noticed this on discord and confirmed the same results. PD is eating CPU and killing frames.
  5. Just picked up the F-5e and Nevada, trying this campaign out with a few questions/comments on the first mission. For the first mission of the campaign: 1) Why is there no SEAD flight, yet there are AA defences at all corners of the airbase you are to bomb? 2) The F-5 CAP flight in the three attempts at the first mission I have tried have fallen to the Mig21s each time, is this normal? 3) The results I am having are that we do get bombs on target generally leaving the airbase at 61%, but the primary package flight is generally downed by the Anti-Air and the CAP is downed by the enemy Mig21s. 4) Is there benefit to bombing the enemy runway? Curious on others first mission performance, or what my expectations should be for the first mission. Thanks for the campaign, excited to keep at it.
  6. Its amazing the anger here, its an great deal for $40. Free map, 2 free planes, and a $20 WWII modules for the foreseeable future. I would do that bet over and over if I could guarantee $20 modules for the next year or so on all of the ED modules coming out. Oh wait, I did and things are good. Basically only module I wont get a discount on from ED for the Next few years is F-18c. Life isn't that rough.
  7. Oh and Thanks for not separating DCS world into different products by era, I just didn't understand that move.
  8. I am in the same boat, I contributed at the $40, which gives me all flyable craft, but I am not quite sure what it all means. Any help would be great, I was wondering when I would get the P-51D key, which I already own but was going to transfer to a friend of mine. Thanks,
  9. It was force feedback being enabled, now that its unchecked, trim and plane are all functioning as it should.
  10. Hmm, autotrim,,, its annoying because the joystick is centered but the f-15 wants to keep pushing downward. I cant get it to fly level at all.
  11. I have trim assigned to the trim POV hat on the hotas joystick, but in game the trim is not changing based on the commands. I can go into the commands menu for the F-15 and see when I move the POV hat the command list is jumping down to the correct trim assignments, but in flight the commands do nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
  12. Specs are very very exciting, cant wait. Hopefully Edge will come with 1.2.7.
  13. Honestly, as a non pledge giver yet, your issue isn't free planes, its not the planes selection, its not the map. Why I haven't pledged, is that I don't believe you can deliver a competitive WW2 sim that's is fun without more control over the engine. The forums are full of these comments. You can provide accurate this and accurate that, which is great for just buzzing around, but if you want to hit a larger community you need the following: --Better more/interesting AI to fight against --Better graphical damage model (engine oil splatter on the windshield, bullet holes in the glass, pilot damage, flying buy a bomber with the tail gunner slumped over, knocking a landing gear down from its store, all amazing and immersive. --Effects like the turbulence of plances flying by you, and you plane sort of bounces in the air from it, very immersive. --All of the above things you know from Cliffs, I just want that game again but done right, I want all the pieces of it that made it immersive and challenging, thats where my dollars lie. oh and for the WIN, if you really wanted the money from peps A DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN THAT RIVAL FALCON... But honestly, I like Cliffs of Dover, especially with Team Fusion fixing it up. Want I wanted was for this to say we are making Cliffs again, but we are doing it right. I JUST DON'T believe you can do it right if you just have control over the map and airframes. At best you get a few good planes for flying around like the P-51, but a not a great game. Just my opinion. Take it or leave it, but remember its not about the planes and their realism, no one doubts the planes, its about delivering a good game that people or better put "I" doubt. Thanks,
  14. Just curious is the damage visualization goal is to replicate those of Cliffs of Dover, which has some amazing damage graphics on the planes. Just curious. Thanks,
  15. To jump into this, I have an SSD and my load times went up dramatically, but I would say, looking at the HD light it looks like there is more pausing within the loading period. This happened not with 1.2.6, but when I added the Huey to my 1.2.6 install. Just got it with the steam sale. So I think its related, but not completely sure.
  16. Got it, love it. Hope to get the Mi-8 soon.
  17. Its not the stretch goals its the base goal/offering that's pretty irreverent.
  18. The stretch goals are not the issue, the issue is the payback for pledging anything isn't worth while. You don't pay anything you still get a free game and 3 DCS level planes, and if you do pay something you get two planes you likely will already have by release. So overall I don't see a point in kickstarting this project, nothing really in return, and already stated that it will still be made without the kickstarter. So in the end, the kickstarter lacks any logical reason to actually fund beyond just being a nice donation. Because at this point its just a Kickstarter for free to play game, and who would rationally fund that beyond the true believers, Not me.
  19. +1 keep to the original vision of DCS world, all eras under one world. Sims dedicated to an single ear are sooo old hat.
  20. I feel the loss of a single DCS world leaves this at a competitive disadvantage, there are many ww2 sims today, but none of them lets you combine modern and ww2 type scenarios (Ala Final Countdown movie). Some may think this a joke, but honestly, a structure where you can bring modern force to a ww2 setting, though not historically accurate still has some value. The issue today is that it just doesn't work in reverse, bringing a P-51 into a modern era is not fun to be had. Taking a F-15c or A-10 into ww2, and now you have something special. Also, I am all about sim, but in the end I feel the ww2 market is a bit saturated. The opportunity to play the "what if's" is what makes DCS World truly competitive against the rest of the sim offerings. Furthermore, when it comes to Kickstarter you have to stand out with something unique, 777 isn't doing a Kickstarter, so what is your competitive advantage, in my mind its DCS World, and the "what if's" it allows. In the end you have my Kickstarter funds once its confirmed that I can run this all under one roof, maybe I am the minority, but that's where my voting dollars are. Here's to F-18's fighting the good fight over ww2 Germany. :) (Hopefully 1 year from today) P.S. I would like my current CA module to work in DCS ww2 if that's how its going to be. I don't want to have to purchase a a special ww2 CA version. Thanks,
  21. Yeah I thought the whole idea of world was to have one platform, that continually builds upon itself. Worlds not that old and already its being cut into parts and pieces. Hopefully, AI advances and graphic advances are shared. Again the pure benefit of a single platform is the common advancement of all things connected to it.
