  1. Hi, I posted a while back regarding this. The general consensus was to unplug the power and have no feedback. The real huey has none. Since doing this it's a revelation to fly, don't worry about force trim. Give it a go, I'd be interested in what you think. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks, I'll turn it off then.
  3. I've been having fun with the huey again. I use an old sidewinder joystick and have reduced the force feedback down to 40%. I was wondering how much feedback - stiffness would a real huey have, does anyone know? Cheers Andrew
  4. Last night I also tried the Landing on the oil rig mission that came with the module. That used to work fine but now also has a frame rate of 7. Not sure if that helps any.
  5. Hi, Just tried it again and yes I still had the very low frame rates, getting to about 14 when a little higher. Tried the second mission and had the same result. I have been flying the medevac campaign and that has been at 30 - 40. I didn't shut down or restart between trying yours and the medevac. If you would like any other info just let me know. Cheers
  6. Hi Emolina I'm certainly looking forward to your missions for the Huey. Unfortunately when I load the very first mission I have 7 FPS, usually I'm running between 30-40. I have a triple monitor setup. Any idea? Cheers Andrew
  7. When I say stopping, I don't mean they made room. I sort of picked a spot when it was empty and landed. Then they just bumped into me and stopped.
  8. I've been playing this campaign and it also has traffic on mine. I was worried about the bridge too, but the traffic stopped for me.
  9. Well I'm struggling with this one. Plenty of hits on the tanks but no kills apart from that first time. They hit me more than I hit them. And I've never seen them in flight, only when I've crashed close. I think they need to be a little more out in the open.
  10. Well I sorted out headtracking before attempting this mission, I alos went back to gunnery school. Played it twice so far and killed the BTR1, I didn't see it just fired at the tracers, I'd imagine that's quite realistic. I'll have another go tonight, and thanks for the tip about repairing, I've never done it before.
  11. Nice mission. I did struggle finding the ruins. I was expecting a castle or something. If I'd paid to go and see them with the kids I'd of felt gutted. However Once I'd found them insertion was just right and fake drop off across valley was nice touch. I also liked the climb back home. Will you be making missions of a similar duration or will be longer? I personally like the shorter ones. That was just right. Thanks for the mission.
  12. Well done, a superb book, you'll love it, it reads like one of your campaigns. I'm afraid I've skipped through the video and watched the highlights, however it's persuaded me to buy a TrackIR again.
  13. Great atmosphere again. Read Chickenhawk. Best book about helicopters let alone vietnam. Had a quick 10 mins today , looks good I'll have proper flight tonight. @faastforward If you enjoyed chickenhawk, I just read easy target by Tom Smith, Similar style very good.
  14. Nice one. I haven't played DCS for a few months but had an itch. I thought Bay of Hogs was the best Campaign. But I was stuck on Mission 2 also. I could get the first AA but the second always shot me down. I'm updating DCS and then I'm looking forward to nailing it after adjusting the time parameter a little. Cheers Andrew
  15. I was very impressed with the originality of the mission, the music, dirty weather and story. I'm looking forward to the rest. Thanks again, it must take a lot of work.
  16. Just completed the first mission. Many thanks for your hard work putting it together. Found it very atmospheric, loved the map reading bit. Cheers
  17. Did you get the dx6i working?
