known issue Fuze settings resetting during flight
Andrew u.k. replied to filthymanc's topic in Bugs and Problems
It happened to me this very night. -
Not at the moment. It usually takes a member to jump ship from his squadron to start a new one up. However, every squadron has pilots that will be flying it.

Great work Rafalg78 & slughead. Still using my board, but have added buttons, use pointctrl for some but not all. Great to see an alternative.

Multi threading problem after CPU upgrade.
Andrew u.k. replied to Andrew u.k.'s topic in Installation Problems
Flappie you are a genius, thank you so much. -
Hi I am having problems getting dcs multi threading to work since upgrading my CPU to a i9 11900k. I fly in vr using an oculus quest pro. All worked fine on my i5 cpu. Open beta single core works fine with new CPU in vr and flat. When I click on open beta bin-mt it all starts normally, opens oculus app, I get the splash screen in vr then when it normally changes to dcs menu screen, the image goes black. There's no sound. In the task manager, it shows DCS as running and not crashed. This happens the same in flat screen. I updated the bios before installing. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Andrew

Raf Air have several squadrons. They fly the A10, AV-8B , F16, F14 and the F/A18. https://www.rafairuk-dcs.co.uk/ https://discord.gg/abzFJ9ssRv We run joint ops nights but all squadrons run training and mission nights. I fly with 41f, one of the the two FA18 squadrons within RAF Air, we fly low level using RAF procedures from the tail end of the cold war. This make for thrilling and entertaining missions, one of our members created a video explaining how we run a mission. We are always accepting new members, please see discord link above.

Hi, I'm cpu bound, would it be worth spending £300 upgrading the cpu from an i5-10600k to something like an i9-10900k. Would I see the difference? I have 64mb Ddr4 3200 ram in the system nd I feel it my brake my heart to ditch that and the mother board. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapatalk

I flew with 10 others over Syria last night in quite an empty map, it was a nav exercise. I was getting down to 20 FPS, I have an RX6950 XT, and i5-10600K , 64k DDR4 3200. Quest pro on a cable. It looked awful, should I be expecting better? 2xMXAA and I was getting stutters I've followed Slugheads instructions, kept it simple previously, it looked good, I hope you figure it out soon and give me an idea of what to do. Do I need to upgrade the processor?

Just like to say thankyou Slughead. I had been getting jittery/ tearing. Went back to your settings you've just gone through with Digitalvole using ODT and OTT and all working well again. Thanks again.

The haptic seat is a must with the Spit and the Huey, the effects are modelled so well. I have just read a few Spitfire memoirs to get me in to the whole WW11 thing and they all mention the forgiving wing vibration prior to a stall. Rare stall, you're doing much better than me, up at 20,000ft + I found it hard to avoid them which was why I had to go back to the drawing board and learn the spit properly.

I have the same take off problem. The Ai take off on a bearing of 300. Unfortunately they are not sat at the base of 30. They line up and skip accross the grass 1 by 1 into a hanger. There's lots in the news about AI taking over the world, I'll only start worrying if they get airborne. Great campaign, I had to step back and really perfect my skills, the main one being to check my six and how to turn at high altitude. Using a haptic seat really helps, you can feel when you are doing a perfect turn and the wing is partly stalling.

Hi, Any help would be appreciated. I have reinstalled the Gazelle using the in game menu, it downloaded and I can see it in DCS World OpenBeta>Mods>aircraft>SA342. But in sim it does not show up as an owned aircraft, no instant action missions etc, and does not show up in the mission editor as yellow, however I can set it to client. But can't fly it. Can anyone tell me how I can get it to show up please. Cheers

This has come back for me with the last update, when it happened before in MT, if I then ran the single thread version and then loaded the MT version all was good. But that's not working after the last update. Could you tell me how I disable the API for MT please. Cheers
-
Did you disable turbulence? That worked for me in the Beware Beware campaign.

Mine came yesterday, works perfectly with SSA. It's good to have the jetseat type of vibration again. I do have some transducers as well but the seat adds the subtle vibration that make it special.
-
Cheers, that's great news
-
I have one coming next week after my jet seat packed up, like you I would not lose SSA. Do I need to do anything to get it working with SSA or is it just plug and play?
-
Love mine. Added the damper mod, they're perfect.
